You guys are the ones in need of an alpha scorer. Gianiis isn't happening and we saw what Jalen Green/Sengun gets you in the playoffs: humbled by the geriatric Warriors-who killed you in your own arena in game 7.

The team is in dire need of someone who can be a bucket when you need one. Plus, you obviously acquired our picks in order to trade for someone on our team, and Booker isn't available.

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, however, the Rockets are loath to make a move for aging Phoenix Suns forward (and post-2026 free agent) Kevin Durant.

"Those familiar with Houston's thinking have long stressed that the Rockets are exceedingly reluctant to try to expedite their climb up the Western Conference ladder by surrendering meaningful trade assets for a player who will turn 37 in September," Fischer wrote Saturday afternoon. "It's a long-held stance stemming from the fact that most of the Rockets' most important players are under 25."

Im personally high on him but I haven’t heard anything about the Suns pursuit of him as the main piece in the deal like I have with Ware and Castle.

Like Spurs fans have been saying here all along, neither Castle nor #2 are on the table:
https://hoopshype.com/2025/06/14/suns-not-that-interested-in-players-that-spurs-have-offered-as-part-of-kevin-durant-trade-package/
"it is also believed that the Spurs are only willing to discuss veterans such as Devin Vassell, Keldon Johnson and Harrison Barnes"
"the notion now of surrendering newly named Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle or the No. 2 selection in this month’s draft is simply a non-starter"

Not saying the Suns have to like whatever the Spurs offer, but the Spurs strategy is probably offer what you're willing to part with (the players mentioned plus probably a pick) and if that doesn't get it done, just walk away and wait for the next opportunity.

Hopefully the Suns get their massive offer from the Rockets, though (fingers crossed).

First, what Bane just got is a “massive” haul. Castle is a good prospect but his inclusion doesn’t make a deal massive and KD isn’t getting a massive haul.

Second, never thought Castle or two would be on the table for Durant. Like I’ve said in past threads the best possible spurs offer was always going to be Vassell, Sochan, pic(s) and filler.

Houston and San Antonio fans really overrate their assets and the length of their timeline, they have a very odd idea that they own some sort of captive market and that teams will have no choice to deal with them and thus control the valuation of the players they want. Nobody in the NBA has a 10 year window, you can't even count on 5 in today's NBA. So what is the reasoning that KD can only be traded to these teams?
