Once we get a new coach who knows how to use him on offense and doesn’t play him out of position on defense, or drives him into the dirt minutes wise, you’ll have to break out the apology forms once again.

Also, I think KCP, Cole Anthony, 16th pick, plus 3 more unprotected is more than we paid..

lol.
We haven't even started paying it off and were supposed to get over it. He is also due for a huge extension. How about he fix his broke form and we might ease up a bit.

Mikal isnt tradh. He is a solid player. Some of us are hard on him cause the capital that was used to aquire him drastically hurt our flexibility. And its hard not to get a lil upset about the deal when we see a better player traded for less. Especially when its a player who fits our team needs more than mikal.

Agree with you 100%. Truth is, across the board I find it easier to just not make excuses for any star or supposed all star regardless of the team. One minute you hear it’s a new team/new roster, the next is some injury concern, then it’s a coaching issue, then it’s the oppositions scheme or some horrible 3 man lineup that player X is apart of. If fans keep making enough justifications for these guys eventually they’ll be right due to law of averages. Having said that, once we start going down that road we get more agendas then facts which is what makes RealGM the best. Gimme narratives all day it’s the only way I can make it 100 games in a year

I thought it was rumored he was taking a discount. Let's see what the numbers are before we jump out the window. But I'm torn because I do wish we held on to the picks for a bigger fish. But then on the other hand, that man won us 2-3 games in the playoffs. If he improves next year and take a team friendly deal then I'm good.

If he wants anywhere north of 30+ you have to trade him for a few pieces.

Wait, so we’re gunna keep hearing complaints until 2031? It’s been 12 months of nonstop b*tching, back pedaling, then b*tching again… maybe just give the benefit of the doubt that the coach used him horribly wrong and wait n see what happens this year?

Especially after he came up huge in an incredibly tight series vs Detroit, and a huge series vs the defending champs by taking melo’s fav player’s lunch money lol. Jus sayin

Also, Bane is not significantly better than Mikal… and that package wasn’t less than what we gave up. We got Mikal on two years of half Bane’s salary too..

Nah, they are still in it to win it. Griz fans are really high on Jaylen Wells, so he'll replace a lot of what Bane was doing for them.

This board hated him. Said he couldn’t shoot, had high hips or stiff hips whatever the narrative was, couldn’t defend, etc. and pretty much called him a scrub. Nobody at the time of the trade felt bad that he was traded. Now it’s why did we trade Obi

The few, loudest voices hated him...

The majority did not hate him.

He knows good and well he can't handle playing in "Madison square Mecca".... especially at 40 years old and emotionally fragile as ever.

Glad the Knicks don't want him. Enjoy playing in the forests of Minnesota.

It’s really interesting to see that…

- … the Bridges deal has always been market value and…
- … the Knicks do not want to trade Towns for Durant.

Shocking. :o
