I wonder if Memphis tries to use the picks to go after Deni? I'm not sure why Portland would trade him but their were reports of Memphis targeting Deni.

If they were crazy they could do that.

Alllllright, time for Player A vs. Player B!

These are per 36 numbers from last year.

One of them just got traded for 4 first round picks and a swap and makes 36M this coming year. The other is two years younger and fans are having a hard time figuring out if he's worth more than 5M.

Pick #14 and Sochan per ESPN. We’d never get Castle or pick #2

Orlando should be very good next year, top 3 in the East. Bane is about as perfect of a fit as they could ask for. All in move but I like it.

I get where you are going with this but player A has a proven track record as an efficient two-way player.

I think player B is worth anything under the MLE but hopes hopes he settles for $5m - $7.5m.

Yes, because I remember when Bane was traded twice with assets attached by rebuilding teams, and then was traded a couple months ago for Beauchamp. Everything is equal here. That's sarcasm.

I don't understand why you want the Bucks to bid against themselves for KPJ. Hammond doesn't work here anymore.

Player A has proven himself for 4 straight years and has stayed out of trouble. Player B has 30 decent games and off the court issues. Its not rocket science why 8M makes sense for one and 30M+ for the other.

well yeah, i completely agree. there's definitely a reason why one doesn't command what the other does right now.

i simply take umbrage with those who dont understand why we would pay him up to the MLE.

my point is that many seem to think he's not even worth 8 and i think that's very weird.

No one thinks he's not worth it, we think he's burned so many bridges we won't need to pay him that. We have all the leverage.

This is the player the Knicks needed when they traded for Mikal. Bane is a 3 and D player with the ability to attack the rim and make plays for others. This is a great fit for Orlando and takes offensive pressure off of Suggs.

Either I missed something or it's a meme account:
Kuzma is stated as "untouchable" in trade talks?

Agree. This is a much better deal than the Bridges deal.

A shame Memphis never really kicked on with that core of young players. Feel like a lot went wrong for them. Be interesting to see what their plan is now.
