Would have been a lot better if Kuzma just said he's shooting 300 3s a day. He's more focused on being an instafluencer than an NBA player. Can't believe we traded for this turd.

Re: Nembhard as a potential Buck draft pick back in the day. It’s good to know that we have yet another example of Horst not being able to do basic parts of his job, while the organization simultaneously extends him…

We aren’t going anywhere with Doc and Horst running the show. Great to know they seemingly have everyone’s blind faith organizationally.

A Minny fan said they’d do Livingston + ‘31 1st for TSJ + 17 that I proposed on the trade board.

Who you trading 17 for?

I’m not sure, exactly. I’m fairly obsessively focused on my top targets, but I know RP likes Coby White. I want help more at the wings and bigs, but Coby can really shoot and he would help us play faster.

Mke: Coby White
Chi: Pat, 17, 24

Could we get Jalen Smith in the deal? Maybe we’d have to eat Patrick Williams.

Mke: White, Smith, Williams
Chi: Kuzma, Pat, 17, 24

The latter would make us become:

Coby/KPJ
Trent/Rollins
Green/TSJ
Giannis/Williams
Bobby/Smith

Kuzma is the same dude he has always been, we’re the stupid ones for expecting anything different. He’s not changing at this point of his career.

Here’s an overcomplicated mess of a proposal:

Mke: Lauri, Howard
Okc: ‘31 Bucks 1st (unprotected)
Orl: ‘26 Bucks swap
Was: #24 + #25
Tor: #15 + #18
Uta: #9 + ‘30 Bucks swap + Dame

We already play fast when Dame and Brook are off the floor. Doees getting even faster really need to be a goal? Eating Pat Williams is a tough ask too.

Agree, but getting him back to previous norms would make him much more movable

If we did something like Pat + ‘26 swap for Isaiah Joe, and then let Trent go, who would you target with the MLE?

Quintin Grimes? Or is he gonna get a big deal after his garbage time in Philly?

Yeah, I mean, he was obviously terrible this season but getting on him for wanting to have a 30th birthday party is a bit extreme lol.

Santi Aldama

Sure, but he's a RFA, and if Memphis matched, everyone else would already be signed, and we'd be left with no one.

Do it for Wiggins, and keep Trent.

I would rather have Wiggins too but keeping Trent would be over doing it at the SG position. I don't think Wiggins at the 3 is great defensively and I'd rather have Trent Jr over Wiggins or Joe.

I think Pat to a 3rd team for Okoro is the better trade if the Bucks can keep Trent Jr.

I like Okoro too, but I see nothing that prevents Wiggins from being the SF. He has a 8'7" standing reach, which is longer than Okoro.

Also, Trent defended SFs a bunch last year, and that's probably his best fit, other than his allergy to rebounding.

Counterpoint: He’s an athletic and decently skilled guy, and if he worked as hard as the upper 1/3 of pros do he’d be an asset to the team we cheer for. The way he carries and markets himself hints at other priorities.

I do, personally, hope that he has a great birthday.

That Bane trade should shut down the pipe dream trades I've seen on here.

For me its keep Porter and hope he flourishes in a gap year. Next year you have a little ammo but blowing any of it now on the fringes seems like a bad idea.

I've been talking about this type of deal for awhile. Spurs (14) & OKC (15) are also targets to acquire a mid first round pick. Those two teams might be willing to take the 31 first rather than have multiple first round rookies this year.

There's a group of big wings that are mocked in that range that would really fill a need for the Bucks: Carter Bryant, Nique Clifford, & Cedric Coward.

My favorite offer would be to OKC for Nikola Topic and 15 for the 31 first. Topic fits into our trade exception so this saves OKC a decent chunk of change too.

I've been enjoying this series from Sam, but thought ours was a disappointing one.

- Called it a gap year & didn't even try to see what he could do w/ '31 trades & our exceptions. No exploration even on re-signing Trent. Kennard?!
- Reduced us to signing guys for a tradeable salary to get 2nd rd picks.
- He relegated KPJ to 6th man. Elevated stop-gaps like Schroder & Ty Jones above him. No mention of success of our death lineups.
- Still was like, "it's 50-50 w/ Giannis & no indicators either way". Ignored our local reporting & Giannis' public comments.
- Acted like Mobley for Giannis would be good for us too. The alternative ones aren't offensive. Maybe there's a gross overrating of Mobley.

All of this seems realistic.
