Cole Anthony is a decent player. Knicks gave up no players in the bridges deal. Just a washed bogs. I suppose if you count KCP as a hugely negative asset due to his contract then it's debatable.

Morant misses games every season for one reason or another.

Grizzlies now have two really good back-up point guards in Scottie Pippen Jr and Cole Anthony. KCP will fit them really well, especially because they have actual point guards who can set him up unlike Orlando who has none and we're the worse 3pt shooting team in the league for a reason.

They have depth at all 5 positions and clear pecking order with Ja and JJJ being the main two. They also have young players who are already proven. They're kind of similar to Indiana.

He has the T-Rex arms.

Wasn't there another player in the last 20 years that people called T-Rex arms?

Or has it always been Bane?

RJ scoring looks good but also feel like stats often are a result of usage. Has he improved significantly since leaving the Knicks?
I dunno.

if I'm the Lakers, I would offer Hachimura and either Kleber or Vincent for Barrett

Barrett would be a LeBron-lite to go with Luka and Reaves after LeBron retires

I’d rather Banes on the Knicks 100/100 times

Yeah, his 3 point shooting and shot creation would have be huge for us.

But we are making Brunson happy. His dad is here too.
Can’t put a orice on that… or did we just pay the Piper?

I honestly don't know how good Bane's defense is but I read an article prior to last season where there was talk about Ja and Bane needing to improve their defense if the Grizzlies were to take another step.

I think how good/bad the trade was will ultimately come down to where that 2026 Phoenix pick lands. Phoenix is on the verge of trading Durant and they were 3-17 without him last season. If that pick turns out to be a top 5 pick then the deal is iffy for Orlando....

For me the biggest downside is that they still lack a good PG. I think their best move would be to trade Wagner in a deal for a good PG and build around Banchero, Bane, Suggs.

From a playmaking standpoint I don't think running with Bane, Wagner, Suggs, Banchero is going to cut it. Playmaking is super important IMO and if anything it is an underrated ingredient. But on the positive side I do think Bane is a very very good SG....one of the best shooting guards in the league actually. I think the Magic will definitely challenge for 50 wins next season. If no PG was available, then I think this was a move that can pay off.

I remember Wingo and I having a run-in with a scout that used to post here (I remember he was a mod when I started as a ballboy in RealGM) in a Nesmith vs Bane debate prior to the 2020 draft. The scout said that while Bane had a short wingspan, his standing reach was at an acceptable 8'4" for his height, which should enable him to contest jumpers.

I recall Shane Larkin having T-Rex arms, but yeah, there was someone else, a forward, we used to say that about. Sadly, I tend to forget about past players I didn't like too much.

It pains me to admit this but I really fck with this Pacers squad. A bunch of overachieving tryhards and castoffs who play unselfish hoops.

Hell even Hali plays the game beautifully
, though his shot looks like he is flinging dog poop off his hands. But he is unselfish and gets his teammates going then turns into an assassin at the end of the game. Thats nails.

Hell even their coach is a castoff. And he isnt afraid to play dirty and go to war for his team. Willing to adjust and is on his 2nd road to a chip against insane odds.

Truly hard not to fck with em. Its just its the Pacers and im a hater.

How they play is hard to hate on but their individual players - and even their coach whining last year about the officiating etc (and it worked smh) are very easy to hate. Lots of them are clown personalities or fake tough guy front runners. Nesmith flops all over the place on defense and nobody calls him out for it. Dude is flinging his head back every time someone drives into him.

As knick fans we kinda have very little room to complain about unethical hoopers seeing how Brunson is a culprit.
