Wouldnt PHX want a future pick for KD from us as the 20th pick isnt as gripping as a 2030 unprotected or something like that?

If Suns trying to stay competitive somewhat they end up keeping Wiggins as their starting SF until his contract is up. In two years Wiggins and Beal will be off there books. If they get lucky Wiggins opts out after a big contract year.

At this stage of his career. That's his best role. Being the 2nd guy and stepping up when needed. Ant isn't as heliocentric as Doncic or Harden. He doesn't dominate the ball the way those guys do. You just slide KD into that Randle role. Randle got a ton of isos and shots.

My biggest problem with the KD is the age and asking him to be Butler of two seasons ago at 37. It's not realistic giving him that workload for multiple playoff rounds and expect any success or that his body won't break down.

I'm not sure the assumption that Jimmy's playstyle was the source of maximizing everyone around him on offense is an accurate one. KD would take on as many or more (very likely more) FGA and FT drawing. It's just a lot less work for KD to find good looks than it is for Jimmy. KD steps onto the court and has positional size advantage over everyone he faces and he's arguably the most well-rounded shooter the game has ever seen.

KD's shot diet/chart is also one that will do A LOT more to provide spacing for the other players on the court with him. Jimmy and Bam were always more of a clunky fit on offense than ideal--just looking at their shot charts reveal that. They operate best on offense from overlapping parts of the court. Not good for spacing. That script completely flips with Durant.

My guess is they want both. I assume they would want a 2031 pick to replace the one they traded to Utah to give them future flexibility against Stepien.

What gospel was taken?

I’m just not here to pin everything on some media boogeyman. It’s pretty clear how vast the attention economy is. Tyler is a grown man making decisions as to how to represent himself.

That he doesn't believe in history before 1950. Which led to him being accused of some egregious beliefs.

Sitting down on a stream is really no different than appearing in a sketch on a tv show or doing improv at this point in my view. People have lost the ability to discern the difference between satire/sarcasm and reality.

I didn’t read that gospel. I don’t believe anyone compelled Tyler to be seen in a certain light except himself by taking his actions.

I wonder when some other NBA stars are gonna do a similar sketch on that “tv show”. Maybe some improv. Ooh how fun!

I’m sure it will be a who’s who of all the best representations for the game.

No one said anyone was compelled. Everyone is performing in some way on those things is the point. Shaq is threatening to kill that same streamer at a UFC event. Maybe an article needs to be written about Shaq's state of mind. He did threaten to kill someone. And so on and so on. All for show.

What else are they supposed to say? Trying not to lose leverage. I remember just yesterday we tried this with Butler and the deal with the Grizz that involved Jon Konchar hahahaha. I think all it took was Bernie Lee telling them don’t do it.

Yea an article probably could be written about Shaq's state of mind. He's a pretty absurd individual that has alienated many. I won't read it. But, I'm not reading the article on Tyler either. I'm rolling my eyes at both and moving on with my day.

Also somewhere in that article somewhere along the lines of “I think Miami may actually be providing the best package right now”

Wiggins
Jovic
Robinson
Larrson
20th 1st rd pick or 2031 1st rd pick

54.5 million to Suns for

Kevin Durant 54.7 million

We retain 9.2 million under tax line. This is the most realistic legal trade right now that essentially matches Durant’s contract by less then 200k which makes the deal legal.

I feel bad for PHX fans. From Finals to destitute so quickly.

Return to Miami Heat
