The Bane trade just proved that if Giannis is ever traded, it will be the biggest trade in NBA history.

You wanted Flagg, AD, Gafford and a 1st for Giannis, yeah, you really were very tame in your demands, you should ask for more...

Nice Try - Wanted Flagg and 5 1st for Giannis

Bucks get: #1 ( Flagg ) / Zac Collins / Huerter / 2025 Bulls 1st / Bulls 2027 1st / Bulls 2029 1st / 2029 Lakers 1st / 2031 Bulls 1st
Bulls get: AD / Reaves
Mavs get: Giannis / White
Lakers get: Gafford

you wanted mavs to give AD, flagg, gafford and a 1st. subtracting LAL 1st for white you still asked for flagg and AD for Giannis

My bad, I'll rephrase, you wanted the Mavs to pay Flagg, AD, Gafford and a 1st for Giannis, then you took AD, Gafford and rerouted them for another 3 1sts.

Like Above, you didn't include Coby White going back to the Mavs...

And still, to my point, Giannis is worth all that and more.

How many more trades will need to happen for you guys to realize that?

Just for fun.. probably missed on value

16, KCP, Cole to Washington
2026 best of Orlando/Memphis/Phoenix, 2026 swap rights returned from Washington, Middleton, Clarke to Phoenix
KD to Memphis

Delay the trade until JJJ is renegotiated. Memphis gets a three year window while their young guys help keep them under the tax. Phoenix gets their lottery pick next season and the better of Memphis/Orlando for KD..

Phoenix can trade Booker to Houston for 10, 2027 first another 2~ firsts. And be able to tank for two years while adding some extra youth?

Orlando moves Isaac to get under the tax one last year right? (They’d have to move Isaac and not keep Harris but that’s very easy..)

Sac? SAS? OKC?

Feels more like a Carter move than Isaac for me? They can essentially always waive Isaac going forward, but Carter is the bigger salary and the more “locked in” salary? Plus, Goga is there to help stabilize?

I think Issac's extension last summer might have been guaranteed, or at least partially guaranteed.

This upcoming year is gtd, but 26/27 is only $8m gtd and $0 gtd in the last 3 years. There’s rolling guarantees based on games played the previous year, but outs each year if need be, or if waived a year early.

The Suns sound mad that they're not getting any major offers and I'm not sure what they expected...

Im not clicking on Reddit. So Windhorst said something. And you took that as the Suns are mad? Okay cool.

"From what I understand, the three teams on Durant's list—Miami, San Antonio, Houston—have not made offers that have gotten Phoenix excited to this point". To say that they were "mad" would be to mischaracterize what Windhorst said.

You really seem proud of the debate tactic where you refuse to click on various other websites that host or summarize video or audio and it just makes you come off as kind of insane.

LOL

Odd that when asked to justify your position, you refuse to do so, then when someone else does it for you, it turns out you misrepresented the direct reporting but instead went with comments on Reddit and instead of coming back and acknowledging that you attack me for...checks notes...not wanting to click on Reddit?

Cool. Good engagement.

In evaluating players in trade proposals, how much stock do you put in their BBREF on/off numbers? I've never paid them much attention, in large part because BBREF's O- and D-ratings haven't been reliable (historically deviating from those on NBA.com, more in some years and less in others), but also because I see them as the metric most influenced by context and, consequently, among the least useful. I've had a few recent conversations where other posters have been major proponents of on/off in their assessments, assigning a great deal of weight in their evaluations. I'm curious to know what others think.

How does the trade board feel like the odds of Kevin Durant to Minnesota have shifted over the weekend? Dead in the water? Still a chance? No change? More likely?
