Yeah, JJJ should be a lot more valuable than KD. If he's available, he'd be Masai's target over KD.

Not to mention they traded Banes in part to given them more flexibility to resign JJJ. Pretty **** stupid thing to do if the plan was to trade him all along.

It's actually the basis for a doable trade, as the issue is the sun's can't aggregate anyone with KD in trade going out. Could look like this

Raptors
KD
Scotty Pippen jr.
Vine Williams Jr
Jay Huff

Grizzlies
Immanuel Quickly
RJ Barrett
#9 pick (or not, or more picks if needed)

Suns
Jaren Jackson Jr.
Brandon Clarke
John Konchar

If Memphis are trading JJJ, they are completely rebuilding and not taking on RJ and IQ lol

They are going to have to take contracts back somehow, the point would be to add picks.

Per John Gambadoro @Gambo987, the Suns don't like the Heat package and he says a trade with Miami is unlikely. He says the Suns are enamored with the adding Gobert or even trading with Toronto.

https://www.reddit.com/r/suns/comments/1ld57xt/gambo_kd_updates/ + various tweets

Gambo is the Suns mouthpiece so he is probably trying to get the Heat to give up more.
