Because Knixinsix wants it to happen. He's speaking it into existence!! He has magic powers! Or he is actually Leon Rose!!

I want it to happen too! But maybe just maybe we'll have the leverage to pull it off...barbecue I don't think we'll be able to beat every other team's offers outright.

Bet on the CAA/Rose connection!!!! Has it not paid off quite a few times before? Everyone of us knows by now the connection stuff behind the scenes can drive this stuff. Is Giannis Plan A though? That is the question.

I'll let you rock brother. You're 3-3 so far. I don't see it happening at all. Memphis has no desire to trade him right now. That's been reported.

I'm waiting to see who we hire as HC and get some sort of handle on how they would run things. Then I'll worry about trades and transactions.

All good...I do wonder about Giannis though if he could edge out as Plan A.

Not holding my breath on this for this season though.

If these guys don’t work out we’ll at least have some picks for next year.

Hukporti was mostly good in his minutes this year. Not a great rebounder but flashed some offensive skills. Certainly looked a lot better than Sims ever did. Probably too early to say he’s a hit but he’s the guy I’m the most optimistic about.

Kolek and Dadiet didn’t really have a great years in the g league. When Deuce was down there, he was dominating and I was pretty skeptical of how it was actually translate to the nba. These guys weren’t as good as Deuce.

Dadiet was 15 ppg on 41/32/84 and kolek was 18 ppg on 39/28/100. Kolek did average 10 assists though but his sample size was pretty small cuz he only played 4 games. His nba career and his usefulness to us all depend on him developing a pull up jumper. When Brunson was out kolek’s effectiveness somewhat diminished when get more playing time he got cuz teams figured out you don’t need to worry about his scoring.

Don’t really have an opinion on McCullar yet but hopefully he has a great summer league.

It is what it is. The Knicks never walked away because they never walked towards Durant to begin with.

Shams and Brian Windhorst says otherwise.

Kolek needs to hit the gym and put lifts in his shoes. Huk looked like he could be a decent bench player before he got hurt. So... Health is an issue for him. Hopefully it's not a big issue. Pac also got hurt and didn't get enough burn to tell much. McC is a mystery.

Hoping the next HC actually tries to play them more for development sake. They got next to nothing this season. Not even in G League.

Since 2023-24 season, I've always been saying JJJ would be a perfect fit for the Knicks that hasn't changed imo even with Randle, iHart no longer on the team...

But we need to sell high on OG... imo even with Casey Smith's worldclass conditioning team on our team having OG healthy for 2 consecutive seasons is unlikely imo... you all remember how made of glass he was before this 2024-25 season?? His defense was so so in the Pacers series... offense very inconsistent in playoffs... this was his best push to make All Star Team and DPOY he didn't make the AS Team and wasn't even close to DPOY (wasn't even named to All NBA Defensive Teams)

KnicksinSix has the biggest hard on for JJJ and... I'm here for it.

3-way with OG/Hart going out and then JJJ and other pieces coming in would be most welcomed.

Is he better than OG? I don’t really think so. He is good, he’d be perfect next to Towns here, but he, too, is inconsistent.

it's possible they didn't want to trade kat. and there really is no other trade to make. at his age it is risky. i'll admit it

but i really don't think kat/brunson works great as a pairing no matter who is the coach. i wouldn't want to waste another year trying to get them to mesh. especially not next year with the east this open. there's no certainty it will last. other teams are gonna get better. look at orlando. they just took a step forward. we can't just pencil ourselves into the conference finals for the next 5 years. it don't work like that.

I too want to trade KAT but only if there’s a good trade to be had. Still hoping Giannis shakes loose…

swapping out og for jjj is a lateral move at best… i think og’s wing defense is a lot more valuable

With the NBA Draft just weeks away, trade rumors will begin to pick up, with the latest involving the Utah Jazz. The Jazz are reportedly shopping center Walker Kessler, according to Jazz beat writer Sarah Todd. If that is the case, then the Los Angeles Lakers will certainly be interested.

Are the Knicks also interested? Seems like a repeat of last offseason. Nobody can satisfy the pick hoarder Ainge.

Return to New York Knicks
