cannot believe this dude is still getting this kind of attention. Whoever gets him will regret it so much. He only cares about himself. He's not the "team player" he is made out to be. He just worked for a couple of years in GSW because that team was already the best anyway. He cannot lead a proper team.

He is still an all nba and all star talent and you aren’t asking him to lead at this point of his career. He will be a 2nd or 3rd option for most teams that are trading for him.

He's also 37 years old with a reconstructed Achilles. He was a top-20 player this year, and is only going to be getting worse.

Yeah which is why he will next a significantly worse return than Bane.

I hope you're not insinuating that the Nets or Suns were properly constructed teams. The most complete rosters Durant had during this recent span were the 2021 Nets squad that fell apart because of injuries and the first season with PHX where KD had 8 games to get acclimated with the team (and yet they still were able to make Round 2).

He's also been a complete pill for a lockerroom in nearly every stop his whole career.

I saw the Spears interview about KD and his agent being "worried" the Suns won't respect his destination wishes because of his age... my response to that is... Good. The Suns shouldn't. They should take the best deal they can get and 100000% ignore what teams KD wants.

Houston but they probably need a third team with Jalen Green.

This makes the most sense. Green does not fit with the Suns, but I wonder how much value he actually has. I really hope the Raptors do not do something dumb and offer up something like Quickley/Poeltl/9th plus more picks for a one year rental of a 37 year old KD who will not want to be there. Some team, any team, save the Raptors from themselves. PLEASE!

It looks like you are a Rockets fan. What would be your personal best offer for KD?

Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, and #10 would be the outgoing offer. The Suns can reroute Jalen and 10 with a team that wants in the lottery or an extra selection. The return to that could fill whatever holes the Suns want to fill.

They would need to include Jabari Smith Jr. at the very least. The Raptors can easily beat that deal.

This looks more likely to me than including Jabari Smith Jr. You can trade Dillon because you have Eason and Amen to defend wings and you keep Jabari who is just scratching the surface on his potential as a legit floor spacing big who we know can defend.

I don't know why people keep acting like the Suns have leverage. Ishbia has put them in a horrendous spot because he didn't value the draft or care about the cap. The organization is suffering because he owner is a dumbass.

The Raptors could if they're okay with the prospect of him leaving. The trade could end up being a salary dump of Quickley if the package is IQ, Jak, and #10. If the Raptors are ok with that then that's cool for them. I think that's a lot to give up just to get off Quickley.

Best possible case is that the Raptors win 20 more games with the addition of Durant and Ingram, and has a deep enough playoff run to convince KD to stay.

Personally I'd love to see a trio of Wemby/KD/Fox.. just not sure if its reasonable to think the Spurs could keep Castle in a KD deal. Probably a deal killer if they insist on him.

Houston makes a lot of sense too.

So based on the reports, sources and word on the streets, where is KD going?

Early this week it sounded like my Spurs were a done deal (per Bill Simmons erroneous reporting), but now it seems like Timberwolves, Miami and even Houston are giving better offers.

I read that Toronto is trying to get him  This has to be one of the biggest joke. Have the Raptors forgotten how frantically their fans celebrated when KD got injured in 2019 NBA finals? That was one of the worst moments ever in NBA history. Absolute disgrace. And now asking the same player to join your team is totally shameless. Have the Raptors publicly apologized to KD about it yet? No. Do it to mend relations with him. And forget about him joining your team.

That's nowhere close to viable in terms of what the Suns are wanting even if the numbers work. And if the Suns get that pick back, they're definitely not trading it away.

ESPN trade machine says the trade is a fail. Not sure how reliable it is though.

Hoopshype said Yacka Purtle, #9 swaped for #29, and one of IQ or RJ.
