Mook was spot on all the way around.

That Leon Rose bit sticks out... seems like a theme.
Def happened with TJ Warren as well.

Was not happy hearing that part. No idea why they would act like that and get a bad name. Mook would have been a great bench piece. I fully expected Warren to be here. Not a good look.

My order of preference:

1) Bryant w/ strong veteran assistants like Mike Brown
2) Dan Hurley with a mix of his guys and some vet NBA former coaches
3) Jason Kidd
4) Jenkins w/ a very strong staff
5) Cassell w/ an experienced staff

Hurley already said he has no interest in the Knicks job. I think if Bryant was a top choice, he'd already have been hired.

I mean, there is a greater culture problem if Leon is making promises to guys (and their agents) and not keeping them, meanwhile Thibs was not giving the guys on the team the chance to participate. it's short-sighted. I would rather have replaced Rose than Thibs.

The only logic I can see with the Knicks flirting with other teams coaches is basically goading them into signing extensions while throwing off a real target.

We have some time, but I really hope we have this cleared by the draft.

We literally could have used Morris. OG needed someone to back him up all year ffs.

Bad look imo

Also, he was 100% right about Tom. We've all been saying this since January

Quite a few of us have been saying the same things for several years. Was never a fan of the hire to begin with. It's over. Hope they get the right guy this time. Thibs was the right guy to help turn the team around. He is not a championship level coach though.

Berman and isola cause so much unneeded drama around this team it’s no wonder why Dolan is the way he is with the New York media. Then they cry like he’s the only bad guy in the situation.

I mean they were 2 games(and prob a FT game 1) away from a final appearance, the roster isn't far off at all from winning it all, a coach that can maximize the Offense alone will make all the difference in the world, they can play D in splurts but will be able to just out score teams.

That's right...get fans hopes up on Jenkins before breaking their spirit with Brown...the Knicks really know how to deliver a kick to the crotch like no other franchise can.

So you think Jenkins is the better choice? I am not really familiar with their styles but, Brown won COTY a couple years ago. His offense was top of the league.

Not close enough. This playoff run was one of the most frustrating I can remember watching considering how far we got. Playing like trash almost every game. Struggled with Detroit. Struggled and got lucky with Boston. Choked against the Pacers. We had very questionable coaching throughout. We played like 3 or 4 decent games the entire time.

Jenkins guided teams to some top offenses as well while also getting his teams to play defense, not sure Brown accomplished that too frequently.

I don't know who would be better but I think the perception around the hire will mean more than the actual results. Look at Thibs, he guided the team to the best 5 season stretch since the 90s teams and got them to the ECF for the first time in two decades but there are people who are convinced he's a terrible coach.

Reality and perception don't always meet.
