Bad timing but we maxed out
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I just don't get how coaches can be so dumb. You have a guy on fire and you put in a guy who is struggling. Just ride the hot hand. Waiting until 3 min left does you no favors.

And now pulling the starters? What a wildly odd coaching performance from Rick.

If OKC wins do you think KD ever sits and wonders what would've happened if he'd have stayed?

He'd be out there because of being the best clutch performer ever, living in that past which didn't exist on 1 leg. He couldn't change speeds & jump for passing. It's changed the series. Rick should have given the Pacers the best chance & played McConnell after the Herculean performance.

That 4th quarter of game 4 is going to give Pacers fans nightmares for years to come. That felt like their shot.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

Not as big of stakes but like game 3 of the ECF in 2019.

Yeah, they will. Especially if the Pacers end up losing this in 7 games.

For us it's the double OT loss in game 3 vs the Raptors in 2019.

But game 4 for the Pacers will be 100X worse just because it's in the Finals and because the Pacers have never won an championship.

Our game 3 in 2019 sucked big time and it still stings a bit 6 years later. But had we won that game, there was no guarantee that we would have won the Finals.

That it looks worse for the Bucks?
That OKC could have a mini dynasty while we hope to win one soon again?

It is ironic that Haliburton probably just had the clutchest 3 month stretch in NBA history.

But then lays his biggest egg of the season in the biggest game of his life with arguably an NBA championship on the line.

Hali will get a brunt of it because he's the star but Nembhard was insanely bad.

Bucks did that on their own, nothing to do with the Pacers. Couldn't care less what happens in the west.

He gets much more of a pass though due to his salary.

I have no illusions to the dichotomy of expectations between the pair but Nembhard is a dude they gave a max extension to after their run last season and has been a big part of their current run. His role isn't to be exceptional but he made a handful of extremely poor turnovers (that led to points) and gave them nothing offensively. They're in the finals and he's a guy they rely upon heavily. He's gotta do better.
