34 minutes. Is the injury to blame for that?

Again, a reason he’s considered overrated. MVPs and superstars never go out like this. They’ll have bad games certainly, but never have completely invisible nights.

I know he’s battling injuries and that sucks, but damn, better just to not play. Doing this actively hurts your team maybe even more than not playing and letting someone else have the spotlight.

He was never a superstar. That’s reserved for players that are top 5 in the league. He’s never even been top 10.

Dude's in the finals....beating teams expected to win. This is just terrible logic.

Awful game but let's not act like he's crap all of a sudden.
Haliburton is who he's been for a while now.
Not his fault some people convinced themselves he was more than that.
No he's not a superstar, much less a potential face of the league. But he's a damn good player

Yep.

Anyone trying to put him as a top 10 sort of player was being a prisoner of the moment.

It should be considered impressive they’ve won two games in the finals against this stacked OKC team.

But he doesn’t belong in the convos with SGA, Jokic, Giannis, Brunson, Tatum, Luka etc

Star…not superstar. Historically bad finals game.

Embarrassing including him in the top 10.

He’s had big games and has been clutch for sure. But the recency bias was disgusting. If any other “superstar” disappeared the way he has, they wouldn’t hear the end of it.

When he’s great, he’s great. But when he has a bad game, boy does he really stink up the joint.

Then again, if he has a good next game next game he'll be a top 10 player again. That's how reactionary the GB is. And he easily could.

He's an inconsistent star level player who plays on a team good enough that they can win high level games without him playing great or even good, and he's ego-less enough to allow them to.

He's not trash because of a game like this and he's not an MVP caliber player when he plays well. But I don't know why I'm saying any of this when that's exactly what'll happen.
