Idk how you can still say that after the postseason run he has just had.

TJ McConnell starter minutes
Zone+ full press, SGA double team early in halfcourt

For OKC: Stay calm, elite athleticism and full team od D menaces, best team and MVP who is terrific in playoffs and clutch general

Just weird to contradict a reporter like that. Usually someone just acts surprised but rarely do you see someone question their grasp of facts. Likely just adrenaline but it’s weird.

Shai - 31/10/2, 6 stocks with the entire Pacers gameplan centered around him. Best player in the world stuff.
Jdub capitalizing with 40/4/6. Stepping up on the biggest stage.

I personally see Hali similar to how I saw a prime Deron Williams. Great player in a system that features his strengths. Will even look like a world beater a couple of times if he's grooving.

But consistent dominance? Just don't see it.

He's still not strong enough. Dort is an amazing defender, but he doesn't do this type of stuff to every great wing player. Only the guys who can't handle his physicality. Last year against Brandon Ingram was an example of this.

They have sucked at finding Siakam at the end of games. Even the last game plenty of good opportunities but no one gets him the ball.

They would have won game 4 IMO if they were more competent at finding Pascal (or just sat Mathurin...), that's on the players and on the coach.

His offense is too herky jerky still though. A lot of wasted dribbling a lot of possessions

Good game, Thunder fans.

We gave ourselves a shot in the early 4th when we cut it to 2 but OKC was poised, went on an immediate 7-0 run and never really looked back. Turnovers heavily did us in both in the 4th and throughout the game. Sadly, we were the first team to lose 2 games in a row in the series. That doesn't bode well for us at all.

Look, losing tonight's game was not unexpected. OKC is a terrific home team and we already won a game there. Winning multiple was never a strong possibility. What we had to do was to win our home games. And, sadly, we threw that away in game 4. Winning game 4 was always our best path for victory in this series and we weren't able to get it. It sucks but c'est la vie. Gotta roll with the punches.

For what is worth, I do expect us to win game 6 and force a game 7. Or, at least, that's what I hope. I really, really do not want to see this team go out in front of our home fans. They deserve to see one more win after the way game 4 ended.

The guy is obviously injured.

Kendrick Perkins was never a good player. He should be fired for calling Haliburton scared.

The Pacers wouldn't be here without Haliburton. Tyrese literally made NBA more than once on playoff game winners.

Woodsanity, I think criticism of the player that carried the Pacers this far is insanity.

While I do think Haliburton will get too much criticism for this game I also think he needed to figure out how to be productive any way he could. He did look scared out there.

I say that and Perk sucks.

what a good Pacers team...on the road and their bench killed ours. Needed an A+ game from JDub to win. Already 5 games and we still don't know what to do against Mcconell and Toppin (and Siakam is elite)

Hali played far worse than even the bench players. He gets a lot of credit he should get an equal amount of criticism.

I mean, look what happened with Tatum?

All it takes is one big injury to throw things off the rails. Can’t predict years from now when one freak play can change everything.

Yep. I frown on saying things like that. This series isn't over by any means

gg. Shai & Jdub were pretty much unstoppable. Tons of credit to the OKC defense, which was absolutely insane. They make great players look bad
