IMO Ace or Tre would fit perfectly in SAS, more so Ace than Tre. They have enough defense to cover Tres ummmm shortcomings.

And SAS turn Kwahi into Kwahi so I think they could do the same for Bailey.

Ok maybe not Kwahi but allow Ace to reach his full potential

I agree, but my question is with this news, will Ace even workout for SAS.

That's a great question. Idk understand what he doing.

You feel you're a top 3 player in this draft, we have the 3rd pick. Sooooo why so hesitant to workout for us.

I would've followed up with the question "well, what team IS he willing to workout for"

That will give us a clue of what he's looking for. Does he want to come in and be the focal point? He won't get that in Dallas, SAS, us (assuming Embiid/PG are healthy)

Would he be the focal point in Wash, Cha, Utah, Brooklyn?

If Ace is refusing workouts, that likely means he has a promise locked in already. Then why bother working out with other teams?

He's going to work out with only us. After all, I don't see Flagg or Harper working out for random lotto teams.

Below is a link to all the draft prospect workouts by team. Harper hasn't worked out for anybody. Flagg only worked out for Mavs.

And of the top prospects, only VJ and Ace are going to work out for us. That means those are the two possibilities for our pick at #3.

Notice that we're not even bothering to work out future ROLE PLAYERS like Nipples lol.

The only team he clearly steps in and gets a ton of shots is WSH.

Everyone else is murky.

Every team between 4-10 has the ammo to come up to 3.

If I'm San Antonio and I'm committed to Fox/Castle as my guys, I'd heavily consider sliding back to 3 for that LAC pick, and then sliding back again to pick up another 1st to end up with Kon. He'd be a perfect compliment to those 2, and we saw the chemistry with Maluach. Imagine him tossing it up to Wemby. :o

Based on the player workouts, the draft order most likely looks like this:

1. Mavs - Flagg
2. Spurs - Harper
3. Sixers - Bailey or Edgecombe
4. Hornets - Bailey or Edgecombe
5. Jazz - Johnson or Fears
6. Wizards - Johnson or Fears
7. Pelicans - Kneuppel or Queen
8. Nets - Fears or Kneuppel

Changing my vote back until Ace actually schedules a workout with another team lol. This report could be coming from Pelicans, Utah, or Washington trying to tank his value so he’ll fall. I’m back guys!

Tre would be interesting in San Antonio as a floor spacer for Wemby, but the thing is, they've already got somewhat of a glut at guard. If they're not too interested in Harper, odds are they might not be that interested in another guard either.

Ace Bailey seems like the complete antithesis of a Spurs player: low basketball IQ, not a great passer, might overly prioritize being a star, etc.

To me, if the Spurs don't take Harper, it makes sense for San Antonio to either target a big man to serve as a minutes eater/enforcer and protect Wemby's career or Kneuppel, as an immediate fit in the lineup as a floor spacer and general connector.

These are all just my opinions man and I could be wrong.

Meh. WSH is just biding time with Poole. They'd flip him for peanuts if anyone was interested IMO.

Typically promises leak. Also, let's say some team did promise him. It's a slotted salary. He'd make more money with us than any team behind us.

I remember, SGA worked out for the Clippers, (I know it was at 11 different draft position) after that workout he shut it down and didn't work out for another team.

How would you feel about #5 & #11
for #3 & stuff ?

Pending what the “stuff” entails, I’d be interested, but I know Morey would likely hate it.

#3
2027 2nd (GSW/PHX, more favorable).
2029 2nd Portland Trail Blazers

#3 & #36.

How good will we be in 2029? I'll guess 5 seed.
How bad will the Clippers be in 2029?
How good will Utah be in 2029?
#3
+ the 2029 LAC top 3 protected swap rights.

I kind of feel the same way with Fox and SAS. I think they would trade Fox and run with Castle and Harper

Fox could bring back a nice haul for them

Guessing it's a typo, #5 and #21?

Any deal involving #3 + fodder for #5 + #11 would just be theft.

2027 2nd (from GSW/PHX, more favorable).
2029 2nd (from Portland Trail Blazers)

Or

Or

How good will Utah be in 2029?
#3

3 separate trade package options. Picks 76ers own, for Utah's 5 & 11.

If we stay at #3, I'm fine with VJ. But when Jeremiah Fears is an all-star, remember who said we should take him at 3.

I just realised after your Portland question & Stormi's "typo comment".

I think this is a smokescreen, but if it isnt i´m going Tre. VJ Ibaka is a roleplayer, although a good one, Tre has a path to stardom...
