I have only heard from one GM regarding their EL and third/fourth year options. The following teams need to submit their decisions regarding these options. Deadline for this is 6/16. If a team does not PM me before the deadline, the EL player will have their contract frozen while the option year will be picked up.

Award season is complete and the 2024-25 season is officially a wrap...congrats to all the award winners. We have a few days before the new league year will open and teams have one more day to submit their decisions for EL/3rd or 4th year options. At this point, there are only three teams with active GM's that I have not heard from. Melo, Strick and Mecca have until midnight tomorrow to submit their roster decisions. I will post an announcement regarding the draft and new league year in the next few days.

If not then your exempt list contracts will roll over for another year.

Looks like we’re missing Boston. In that case, can we give an extension for this for him or can we just at least drop the EL by one year? Feel like no one in this league would want Covington to have an extra year

I spoke briefly with BB (Caps friend and the likely Boston GM) via email. I let him know that assuming the conversation goes well and he’s committed, that he would be in and would have an extension to decide on this through today.

I do need the deadline to stick though because the new league year needs to open before the draft on Friday. It will take me at least a day to move all the info onto a season nine page.
