Honestly kind of what happened to me. I was watching all sorts of games. I got no dog in the fight and was way into Orlando, Detroit. Indiana, Minnesota games. I’m probably an outlier but I wanted to see the young and up and coming guys and rebuilding teams. And then the length between the finals I had to look up when the games were even on and was like….no game on a Sunday night?Hence I want back to back on weekends. Sundays should always have games IMO.

Go Mon/Tue, Fri/Sat, Mon, Wed, Saturday
or Sunday. Something like that. I realize they need travel time for those last three games. But early on play some back to backs if it’s a 7 game series.

Hey, I don't really watch or care for baseball. Maybe we should just scrap the Major Leagues.

Wow, that escalated fast!!!

they kill all the momentum spreading the finals out and the finals haven’t been the best series since the Warriors days

Games are too long. Play-off format is fine.

I would like to see at least the first round be best of 5 and of course I do not support the play in. Also agree about the finals being too spread and that it kills interest

Basketball nerds have denied us an all time finals if this was best of one. People are still talking about the Olympics finals to this day because it was an epic best of one, like all sensible sports do it

Nobody even cares about the Finals at this point.
Everyone is just waiting for the draft, trades and free agency.

The officials are having entirely too much influence on the outcome of games, and ultimately the championship.

Someone's bitter their New York Knickers didn't make the finals

The Pacers have represented the East with far mrlr gravitas than the Knickers ever would

They are for me. Unless I have a particular rooting interest, I don't watch the Finals. I would if the playoffs had one fewer round, that is if they had 8 teams. But the process goes on too long for me.

Coincidentally what's the least viewed NBA finals ever?

Get rid of the play-in, go back to a best of 5 first round, and 2 days off in the Finals should only happen on travel days if at all.

So basically whenever my team's season ends, I don't care anymore. In other news, water is wet.

The 2 days between games in the Finals and the later start times to accommodate the West Coast neuter most of my interest in the games once my Celtics are eliminated. I do find IND really fun to watch so that helps me a bit... but yeah, it's a struggle for me this year.

Playoffs are great. Finals needs to be one day and then play.

Pretty meh on the play-in still as well.
Naw, 7 game series is perfect. I'm a hoop head so the more ball we can get the better. Plus game 5 games isn't enough time to build up.

If the team is that much better than another team they'll win in 4 or 5 anyways.
