Is there any hope of having a legit bat at third or short without a trade any time soon? It ridiculous how bad the left side is offensively.

Another reason Civale was traded.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Sadly, not really. Anthony Seigler is the only one really pounding on the door. He's been getting some more reps at third over the last month. They could also put him at 2B, slide Turang over to SS, and send Ortiz to h̶e̶l̶l̶ Nashville.

Why did they BS everyone and say it was cramping when he clearly rolled his ankle?

I think he says on the broadcast last night he was cramping and that’s why he rolled his ankle. Trying to work the cramp out. I haven’t seen the video though so maybe that was a joke?

A random group of players who have all contributed roughly the same amount(0.6-0.8 WAR) to the Brewers this season per Baseball Reference

Isaac Collins, Jackson Chourio, Christian Yelich, Rhys Hoskins, Caleb Durbin, Logan Henderson, Nick Mears, Quinn Priester

Yup, that's what he said. Didn't look like he was working out a cramp but I don't know why he'd make that up.

At some point this season he will take the closer spot. Due to injury or performance (Megill’s). I know, I know, hottest of takes.

But my twist is he won’t relinquish it for 3 seasons!

Don’t hold me to that; unless I’m correct, in which case, give me my flowers.

Right now it's schediled for Mis to start next Monday against the Pirates and Skenes on Tuesday (vs. Peralta). Maybe something will change and it will be Mis vs. Skenes.

I've always been a Garrett Mitchell fan and every year he lets me down. But I'll stay positive he can contribute this year.

The Athletic has Peralta as the #2 trade piece at the moment. Rhys is in the early 20s, mentioning the Brewers might be inclined to move him just to avoid the $4 million buyout, which makes sense.
