For this to work for the Rockets without FVV they have to give up Sheppard, Jabari, Brooks, and Londale and 10th pick. All these packages are stupid steep.

Wiggins and Rozier would need a 3rd team. Just a little over Durant’s salary. If we can keep Duncan out of this will allow us to be players to fill out the roster via free agency

Like we’ve been saying, they’re trying to get that one last piece. Do we do it? Would love to know what would need to be added to get the deal done.

That would be crazy including a 23 year old guard with his scoring impact. That’s a Giannis piece. He’s also close with KD

If Miami can cobble together a competitive team, having players like Burks and Highsmith on cheap deals that can provide 2nd or 3rd string depth at more than one position while providing core complementary skillsets (shooting & defense) is really valuable.

I know you loathe Highsmith, but once he's situated in proper role he's a great bench 3&D option to have.

I really like that Shams did not mention Duncan. His money is the key to opening the books for Mitchell and others.

Highsmith absolutely has a role as a support player to squeeze into the lineup. He’s a great defender and can knock down the open 3. He just wants to play his role, need guys like that on championship teams.

Highsmith would be fine playing SF in lineups with KD.

I really want to see Jaime in Phoenix and thrive there. Just seems like a perfect fit.

Both the Spurs and Rockets should be holding out for stars who fit their timeline and Shams even touched on that a little. Let’s get it done, KD is in our wheelhouse.

Of these players, what's the biggest loss for Hou?

Maybe Reed but he didnt really play at all.

No brainer deal for them, imo
