The blunt truth is that there is a reason why Phoenix is desperately trying to get Kevin Durant to sign off on Minnesota, the trade is contingent on that happening.
It's still too much. MAYBE stomachable only if Randle can get us a c.. which unlikely.

maybe one of the Portland C's- Ayton, R Williams, if they want Clingan to be clear starter

Good call. RWilliams perfect

Heading into next season with the perpetually injured Robert Williams starting at Center seems like an absolute disaster. I would honestly rather gamble of the goofball line-up of Julius Randle at center, at that point, if I’m being honest.

I wonder if the Wolves are baking in that there are going to be some quality/starting level players that are going to lose out on the FA musical chairs and end up taking minimum offers, sort of like what happened with Tyus, Gary Trent last year
i've been wondering if Clint Capela will get more than a minimum offer?

Gobert ($43.8) + DiVincenzo ($11.4) + Shannon ($2.5) + #17 ($0) = $57.7 mil outgoing salary
Gobert ($43.8) + DiVincenzo ($11.4) + Dillingham ($6.3) + #17 ($0) = $61.5 mil outgoing salary
Now, maybe we are sending something else out to a third team, simultaneously, but these deals are illegal.
younggunsmn wrote:Oh and shrink you need to be using 2025-26 salaries in your trades because before the moratorium it is going to be logistically nearly impossible to pull off a trade of that magnitude between 2 2nd apron teams with neither having the ability to aggregate.

Common sense post...thank you. We're a worse team after that trade with even less assets for future moves.theGreatRC wrote:That package is WAY too much for KD at 37 years old and potentially 1 year...cmon now..
Even if we got KD for that, we have holes that still need addressing;
-Who plays PG
-Who plays C
-bench got weaker
