Love how everyone is frealing out on all these reports being thrown out there. The draft is next week Wed, so there is no urgency to give in on any side until it is crunch time next week. This is normal in high level negotiations to pull back and posturing until the deadline to make a deal. There will be a lot more throwing stuff out there to see who blinks first, so just relax and let it play out. Next week before the draft something should get done.

Buying out Rozier is worst case scenario. His contract currently counts for 26 mil against the cap but has unrealized 2 mil in incentives of playing in 70 games and making second rd of playoffs. He can be bought out at 24 mil. Hopefully that’s incentive for another team in trade. It should be

To be completely honest, I would trade Herro and #20 for DeRozan and Keegan Murray. if Miami got Durant. Herro is a much better 3-point shooter, but DeRozan is better at getting to the line. And I think Miami might run into issues when Herro becomes eligible for a massive extension. Herro simply is not worth more than he is currently making.

how much does Derozan make? would a swap for Rozier work? i dont like that as our only move but if its secondary after getting Durant but is he cool coming off the bench?

Miami is not buying out Love. The guy generally steps in and gets more points/rebounds in 12 minutes than Jovic gets in 30. Plus he's a great locker room guy, and Miami values that.
