Collecting a few trade rumors, it appears we have interest in both Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk. Their new GM is Scott Perry who was the Knicks' GM from 2017-2023 drafting both RJ and IQ in his time so he might see a future with those two. Overall, in NY he made a few smart draft moves, but overall was key in getting NY picks that later paved the way for this recent success. Picks and young players will be a focus for the Kings.

Toronto has been rumored to have interest in Monk, plus Sabonis is a perfect fit for the Toronto offense.

Basically 0 interest in Sabonis. He's the definition of a regular season player. Nothing wrong with that but we shouldn't push all in for a player that's routinely schemed out of the playoffs.

Sabonis is awesome. He's finished top 10 in MVP voting twice. His game will age well. Easily would be the best Raptor since Kawhi. I wouldn't break all future drafts for him, but if we're in a Luka situation where a dumb GM thinks you can't win with him then we should strike.

His game is already exposed now. The reason is his defense, he is a liability out there. As soon as someone is able to guard him properly, he gets useless.
