The Luka trade definitely helped increase the Lakers value, which in turn will increase the values of all other teams, including expansion teams, and thus, the value of the league as a whole.

I think the Lakers sale is a special case. They are the premier franchise in a global league with huge brand recognition worldwide.

I doubt this sale impacts the value of the Memphis Grizzlies much.

House prices in Canada are on crack. Like the wealthiest people in Toronto are people who own multiple houses, not from working and producing something for the economy. Stupid system we got here which got our actual educated and smart people leaving for the US for much better pay and opportunities and way better housing prices with more land.

And your probably right inflation is crazily understated nowadays.

I used to be able to get 10 cheese burgers from McDonalds with a S10 bill and get change back during high school. Now you can maybe get three for the same price. And I'm not even 30 yet.

Yea thats funny me and my friend were talking how we are like France.

Its like the slow decline of first world countries around the world and I would say Canada is at the top. Our population is on the decline with out immigrants like every first world country in the world. Way to expensive for us to pump out kids let alone provide for yourself and more than 1 or 2 kids.

Whos gonna pay for all the old peoples pensions that are retiring now? So we import people from third world counties so we can stay afloat (Not talking **** that's how my parents came here). Which causes the people who have been living here to hate the new people coming in cause they are used to living a different way. Which also changes the culture of the country slowly over time. And Canadian culture isn't some ancient culture whos been around for thousands of years like other places around the world. Our country and culture is a baby compared worldwide. Canada is like 150 years old? While others have had the same cultures for over thousands of years. And immigrant families are down for the struggle just to have more kids compared to Canadians.

The new wave of immigrants are like slaves here to keep this country afloat. A slow decline of the country which probably cant be stopped. Similar to how the Romain empire fell. Keep the wealthy at the very top wealthy until they find a new place to go live.
