Just put Barnes at the PG because of the report we want Dick to start....Thats the only way it makes sense....KD also brings the ball up as well so it would not be all Barnes being the PG....But who knows how it could play out....Maybe we get the 19th pick and draft Jase or Walton Clayton to be the PG...

Based on how much a team of KD, Booker and Beal struggled without a real PG I think we can infer this plays out poorly. All these guys are secondary playmakers, they need a floor general. And even if you do somehow acquire one, it means bumping Gradey out the starting lineup leaving KD and BI as the only shooters...I don't see how we're not just recreating a worse versions of the last few Suns teams (KD + Booker > 37 y/o KD + BI).

The biggest problem for Phoenix was actually defense. Thats why they wanted a Center that can defend, but they couldnt find anyone for cheap.

Only thing is that Masai is trying his hardest not to include Yak.

KOC said on his pod that Masai is under a lot of organizational pressure to win next year and he’d be surprised if we stayed at 9…

Masai would want a big salary number and his performance for the past several years does not warrant that. Rogers are coming in as the new majority owners and would want to see some results, especially when Ed Rogers wasn't high on Masai even after winning a championship.

Let's just hope Masai doesnt do anything stupid/shortsighted to hurt us longterm.

KOC is useless as ****. He has no sources and is pure speculation. He's NEVER got anything right. He doesn't know **** about the organization.

You know what, sign me up for Durant. I will buy his jersey and get Raptor tickets to see this once in a generation player shoot hoops. No one in this draft will ever be as good as Durant, and the guy still got it for a few more years.

Including Yak ruins the point of even trading for KD...the team will have a big weak spot. Championship teams don't have those glaring weak spots.

fisher

The Suns' attempts to find a Kevin Durant trade have not progressed as swiftly as they would have hoped.

Among the reasons for that: Teams such as Houston and San Antonio simply see little need to make asset-rich offers for Durant when A) they know that the Suns face self-imposed pressure to try to assemble a deal that delivers even half as much as they gave up to acquire the future Hall of Famer in February 2023 and B) both teams have long-held reservations about bidding aggressively for a player who will be 37 in September … and when their respective cores are so much younger.

Minnesota's level of interest, meanwhile, also appears to be in flux. The Timberwolves are said to be reluctant to go ahead with a trade unless they know Durant would embrace it and ESPN's Marc J. Spears reported Wednesday that Wolves star Anthony Edwards — despite his well-chronicled fondness for Durant dating to his youth — has not been actively lobbying his Olympic teammate to add Minnesota to his Houston/San Antonio/Miami list of desired destinations.

Raptors may just get Durant bc they’re the last ones standing. We are both to me offering a decent package and are willing to make the trade even if Durant doesn’t want to come here. Other teams either aren’t doing one or both of the above

Masai isn't the person i'm concerned about making the Raptors do something stupid/shortsighted.

Masai may be LA bound…

I doubt Masai is doing this for his own job. The guy will have a job if he wants one. Rogers will want to see results, Tannenbaum will want the highest valuation…. think it through for a bit.
