Just what I thought. None of these rumors scream Masai at all. Last year of he's deal to. Get ready for trades we gonna hate.

In my opinion, I don’t think that RJ+Quick+9th get it done to get Durant.

I think that Poeltl would need to be in the trade for the Suns to even remotely considers our offer .

As if including Poeltl would be a wise decision, that is another question as I understand 1000% the reluctance to create a hole at center.

I also think if Poeltl is not offered, I think we would have to add an extra future pick.

Like : RJ/Quick/9th/Future 1st (Top8 protected) . Something like that.

And again I understand 100% the thinking that it would be an overpay .

The reality is the Suns to trade Durant to a team outside his top 3 destinations list, I think we would have to overpay the market for the Suns to take our offer

Anyway even if we don’t land Durant, I still think it’s fun to be in the conversations .

Just make the pre draft off season portion much more interesting

At the end of the day, I don’t think Toronto going to win this sweepstake.

Shams has yet to mentions us I think. Probably doesn’t think the Suns going to trade Durant to us.

Our offer is probably only to make one of the Heat, Spurs or the Rockets to cave . Or maybe it’s KD and he accept the Wolves’s trade

koc has no real connections

KOC is useless as ****. He has no sources and is pure speculation. He's NEVER got anything right. He doesn't know **** about the organization.

But this KD trade is not like Masai. KD is old old, OG Masai would never.

Let's just hope Masai doesnt do anything stupid/shortsighted to hurt us longterm.

Masai isn't the person i'm concerned about making the Raptors do something stupid/shortsighted.

Masai is a big enough name for him to tell Ed Rogers to kick rocks if he tries to make him do anything hes not totally on-board with.

Let's see what eventually happens because I don't expect Masai to make a stupid move, rumours are rumors

Including Yak ruins the point of even trading for KD...the team will have a big weak spot. Championship teams don't have those glaring weak spots.

maybe they are thinking/agreed under the table to sign Brolo? wouldnt hate a stretch 5 even if he is a bit washed

He would be nice to back up Jak. I do not want him as our starter. We gonna have the retirement home starting for us with him and KD.

They covered it well on this podcast. Essentially, why would a team, just starting to think about being competitive again (not championship competitive) be interested in a 37 year old star?

It reeks of the Suns trying to extract a better deal from the one team that makes the most sense for a deal (Rockets), and what is the best way to do that - throw out rumours of the Raps being interested, and let their fanbase lose their minds.

What do we give up for Embiid? And there's a good chance Embiid,Ingram and KD could all be out at the same time. We would be worse than last year if that happens. But talent wise that seems interesting. And no way we can rely on Lawson to be a backup point or even Monk (He sucked as PG after the kings got Lavine).

Too much panic about Masai making a desperation move. His last move was picking up BI at a great price. It's gonna take more than twitter rumors to make me nervous.

After looking back at this lineup, I don't like this at all. Compare it to OKC and IND. It looks slow and fragile

There's no way Raptors can make a trade without overpay berceuse they don't have any good filler contracts, so I don't think it's going to happen.....giving up 2 starters is too much for a 37 year old

Not a credible source but I can live with this IQ + #9

But that doesn’t work financially so idek

Shead
Ingram
KD
Scottie
Jakob

Then trade down for Sorber to be backup C. Easy ship 8-)

folks can't get past the yak trade. outside of that, and that's mostly because of the timing, masai's been fine. almost entire roster change in 1.5 calendar years. now we see what's next. exciting times!

I honestly think kick the tires on Trae Young.

He's gonna opt out next summer and leave Atlanta.

Buy low candidate - acquire him and extend with his bird rights.

One of the best playmakers in the league and pretty durable - would do wonders for this team.

It wasn’t the dude on the verge of medical retirement at C or the 2nd year 2nd round pick at PG, or the required overhaul of the CBA and its salary matching rules that gave you pause?

I firmly believe you don't win anything with Trae Young as one of your main pieces, and want absolutely nothing to do with him.
