Wait...she said down 11 with 4 mins to go is 'over'? Plus...she needs to keep her hands to herself, just watching that video I felt violated in some way.

She’s some kind of influencer. We’re not.

What does that even mean?
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right

is that a filter? Why is her head so small. Sorry. Is that petty of me? I can't watch. She sounds like she does know something, but I can't.

This weekend the finals are over one way or another. Trade season is brewing. Draft day is next week. I think we will have a new HC in the next few days.

Seeing how they only had two interviews....we need to get used to the idea of one of those guys. I didn't realize how soon the draft was. I thought we had a little more time. I can't imagine not having a HC much longer.

You would be ok with him as HC.

I don't know enough to have a strong opinion, and I'm always leaning towards innovation so the young newcomer is always more appealing to me, but I'm definitely not terrified of the prospect of Brown right now.

same. not excited about brown or jenkins. but not particularly worried about either, especially if it’s alignment, communication, trust we need most. of the two, jenkins is a lot more intriguing to me.

Find me a coach who can:

1. Unlock our offense. We have more than enough to be top 10.
2. Get one of the four rookies some rotational minutes (most likely Kolek)
3. Fix KATs stupid ass drop coverage.
4. Extend your bench or change rotation if we are struggling.

If this is Taylor Jenkins so be it. Every coach has its flaws but I can live with a coach that understands analytics and have an open mind on anything.

Word is that Jenkins has terrible rotations

If anybody on this board does this, I'm reporting them to the mods. Her style is so off putting.

If one of them is the pick, I’ll be more interested in the offensive assistant hire.

I'd have to dig through this thread, but I don't recall seeing this posted. My bad if it was

https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-intel-kevin-durant-trade-talks-desmond-bane-jonathan-kuminga-celtics-hawks-nets/

The Cleveland Cavaliers have several coaching staff positions to fill on their staff after losing Jordan Ott (head coach) and DeMarre Carroll (assistant coach) to the Phoenix Suns, assistant coach Bryan Tibaldi left for Providence College, and Cleveland Charge G League head coach Chris Darnell bolted for the Sacramento Kings to become an assistant coach.

After being a finalist for Phoenix’s head coaching job, Cavaliers associate head coach Johnnie Bryant is expected to return to Cleveland.

With several voids to fill, the Cavaliers have interest in adding current Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Jared Dudley as an assistant coach, league sources told HoopsHype.

Dudley played for Cleveland head coach Kenny Atkinson and assistant coach Trevor Hendry during their time together with the Brooklyn Nets, and he was a teammate of center Jarrett Allen.

League sources say the Memphis Grizzlies and Phoenix Suns also want to add Dudley as an assistant coach. Ott coached Dudley in Brooklyn, and Carroll was his teammate with the Nets.

Another potential addition under consideration for Cleveland’s staff is Jawad Williams, HoopsHype has learned.

Williams has been an assistant coach for the Sacramento Kings and director of player development since 2023. He also was a former Cavaliers player from 2008-11.

Sorry man it’s already been posted. That’s means I’ll have to report you unfortunately.

Jk lol

Johnnie Bryant would be better suited for a young team that’s rebuilding. He would be under too much pressure for a team that’s contending for a chip and he’s a very big unknown imo.

If the goal is to hit the ground running and contend for a championship, I think Leon goes with Brown over Jenkins.

Brown has way more experience and has gotten to a Finals as a coach and has won championships as an assistant. From the Pop coaching tree, has coached LeBum, Kobe, Curry and resurrected the Kings. But this is a 28 year resume versus a 12 year resume.

Jenkins makes more sense if you're willing to be patient and take more of a risk cause he's still very young. I guess it depends what Leon is looking for. Wish we could listen in on the interviews!

I just hope they interview other guys than Jenkins or brown. It’s just weird to do a wide search of coaches with contracts and not free agents and assistants.

This is kind of like being the head of a company and you're looking to hire an executive to lead an important department. Would you hire a 55 year old with 28 years of experience with a proven track record but some red flags or would you hire a 40 year old with 12 years experience and a few red flags. Keep in mind your goal is to elevate your company to be an industry leader and make the most profit ever next year.
