I mean what else should he done, there are no pictures or anything, he quoted the most important part and linked article if you want to read fully. This probably does not deserve a thread to be honest, and title is clickbaity maybe, and I clicked thinking I will see Edey running drills or smth, would not have clicked if it was just Zach Edey gets speeding ticket, but whatever. I saw a story and moved on, no need to attack OP IMO.

Him and Shedeur Sanders were going the exact same speed.

Looks like Edey actually was charged, where Sanders was just cited. I guess Indiana is a little more strict with that stuff than Ohio.

I have been road tripping to go to every NBA Finals game (I'm a Pacers fan). It's a lot of I-70 and I-44 going through the midwest. I saw this and the Sanders thing the last couple days and I get it. The speed limit on the highway is 70 in a lot of these states. I'm from CO where it's the exact same highway and the limit is 80. There are portions of the highway that go through bigger cities where it's 5+ lanes wide and the speed limit drops to 50. Nobody is going these speeds. I've been just falling into line with groups of cars going by and routinely averaging 90 for long stretches. I didn't read up on this or the Sanders case, but there's a pretty wide gulf in my mind between driving recklessly and speeding on a highway when you are arguably going with the flow of traffic. I can't say that's the case in either of these, but to me this kind of like how fouls are called in the NBA. Technically, people are fouling on every play so you can't really complain when you do get called, but it seems a bit arbitrary to me.

The individual thoughts of some posters can be way worse than if they just stuck to posting links to articles.

Folks like me partly use this board as a way to get links to news as well. I honestly think you need to lighten up.
