I can see Morey picking Tre because he sees a little Harden on him. You can see that Tre is already a better passer than Tyrese, so i think it makes sense that he will be the lead guard if we get him. If Maxey could get 6 APG i dont see why Tre cant get atleast 7, since his vision is already way more advanced than Maxey´s.

I don’t see Harden outside of the iso step backs. I think Morey wants Harper because he profiles close to Harden in regard to elite pick n roll play. Harper has already shown elite rim ability which should get better in more spaced out NBA as well as FTr.

I’m not the highest on VJ because I don’t see the perfect world iso creation ceiling but if everyone could do it the NBA would have more stars. It’s also a pick n roll era so long as he can get space on a slower player he can create enough to get to the rim or bully ball a small guard. I do see elite transition play which is needed especially watching the Finals. Although we will be small, so rebounding to get into transition will be infuriating. But VJ can come off the bench and give you slashing, spacing and defense day 1. Great rebounder for a guard too. He should have Josh Hart, Westbrook like intangibles until his role on offense grows.

Tre Johnson’s game is similar to Devin Booker to me and I’m not a Booker fan lol

My brain is absolutely fried. I've been looking at splits, attacking Ace Bailey, studying the psychological make-up of prospects, attacking Ace Bailey, dissecting film, attacking Ace Bailey, reading tweets and attacking Ace Bailey for weeks at this point.

There's real life steam emitting from the top of my scalp, like a truck broken down on the side of road.

I'm logging off until draft night unless something major breaks.

Peace.

What’s your thoughts on Airious Bailey

Booker is a horrible 3 point shooter. They are not the same.

It's like buying a pair of jeans or shoes.

Looks (eye test)
Function (Skills)
Fit (position + skills)
Current & Future trends (team construction)
Value
Followed by a chance of buyer's remorse.

I just hope whoever gets picked, 2026 season results be damned, they get to play meaningful stretches along with the other young core.

And if they screw up, so be it. Don't park them on the bench for mistakes, creating performance anxiety and social media pressure.

Long story short, Fischer thinks we're staying at #3 and taking Edgecombe. Says trade up for #2 is a long shot, all indications are he's going to San Antonio.

The most likely trade-down candidate for us is (surprisingly) Washington, which would be for Edgecombe and not Ace.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Grimes/Edgecombe/Gordon
Oubre/Edwards
George/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Bona/Drummond/Broome

Morey got 6 days left to PUMP AND DUMP on VJ Melton. Need to gas him up to the point he becomes the consensus #3 overall pick. Then trade down for a king's ransom.

I don't think he makes it past Utah or Washington.

I'm going to console myself by watching Zhaire Edgecombe dunk over the coach's son while down 40 points.
