if two firsts is a no go when you have Bam, Ware, KD, Herro for the next 4 szns.. then you dont really believe you are truly competitive and you shouldnt be bidding KD in the first place.

We barely have firsts to trade.. 2 years from now when we are back to looking for a star again we dont want to be in position that we dont have assets again because of a 2 year Durant rental that didnt amount to anything but first round exits.

If he’s trying to get this deal to mirror the Butler deal without no young prospect then I can see why the Suns ain’t budging.
