It feels like the quiet before the storm. I would think at least a few of trades happen in next 5 days so teams can get some juicy picks in a pretty loaded draft.

....George to Utah?

.....Durant likely to move to Houston, Heat...., Minny?

Raps seems desperate to make a move too

OK, here's the plan.

Naji vs. Huk, 1 on 1. Two men enter, one man leaves. The battle of the titans!

Actually, he seems very fluid and has good footwork down low. I'm always in favor of giving talented young kids a run in SL. Who knows, one of them might find a spot!

It's a fringe move from the KAT trade that may bare fruit. He's got years of experience playing against grown men. He's probably done growing into his body. Extremely cheap depth if he can show anything. Motivates Huk to up his game.

Summer League is less than a month away. I'm always interested to see if we found any gems. We need to scrape the bottom of v the barrel and leave no stone unturned to fill out the bench. We don't have much money to work with.

Serious qs
What’s the deal with ppl enamoring JJJ?
He’s a DPOY candidate but he can’t guard the perimeter and gets burnt often
So if you trade Mitch and Mikal to get him, now you lose two guys who can guard the perimeter for one who can’t…
Genuinely interested why people want JJJ

Dude is not klunky like at all man. He is really coordinated for a big man. Hopefully he can turn into something for us.

Actually one of his strengths is his defensive versatility either at rim OR on perimeter.

I dont know where you formed that opinion that he cant guard the perimeter bc it is contrary to what almost everybody says about his game.

Also one of the things most lost on folks it seems is the business side of all this and the risk factors. They are commonly ignored yet they play a huge role in decision making of who to keep or trade for a franchise.

But if you were Joshin' I kinda missed it

1) Hire Dan Hurley or Jason Kidd
2) Extend Mikal and Mitch
3) Move Hart to a 6th Man Role
4) Sign the best vet mins money can buy (Shamet, Wright, Hortford, etc.)
5) Get to 55-60 wins and another ECF & potential Finals appearance

Easy stuff man. No need to go crazy this off-season.

If you remove the elite rim protection and unreal perimeter shot blocking ability, the incredible defensive instincts all around the court, the dominating offensive rebounding...he's better than Mitch.
If you'd rather see your team fail so you can be right
...you are a fan of your opinion not the team.

They're going to hire Mike Brown, run it back with minor tweaks to the lineup and you'll like it. :D

True. Admittedly, I didn’t watch a ton of Memphis games. Whenever I see him play I feel as though he hovers around the paint. But say we trade Mikal for him, straight up, we are now losing a wing defender but adding a big who can paint protect. Wouldn’t we now have a hole at the wing? Unless we elevate deuce
