That may be too rough on him; let's say Scoot Henderson vibes.


More that they are both decently sized PG candidates that went/will go #2 in the draft with questions about their 3 point range but that started as one of a bunch and quickly became a consensus pick than that they are similar stylistically.

Out of the last 25 #2 overall picks, how many would you say ended up better than Trey Murphy? Maybe five, depending on what you think of Brandon Ingram.

I can understand Spurs fans wanting to go for upside, but this is a very reasonable deal.
