Samson Folk did a deep analysis of Bryant and loves him too.

He's just going to be good, figure out the rest later but think he'd be the dream RJ replacement...
ORL got Bane we could've matched with a Kon

I personally don't believe BRK will take KM and they are going Jak or Essengue in this scenario.
If there's any trades, they will be on draft night as they have to wait to see how the board shakes out.
Hmm idk but surely you’ve seen reports too that the Nets have liked Maluach as well…
If he does fall to us I’ll rejoice lol but I just think there’s so much smoke around him and you know what they say about the fire. I’d say almost especially with the Hornets who might be trying to lure someone into trading up considering how seemingly broken the relationship is with Mark Williams and the franchise. But who knows? I’ll pray you’re right.
Although lowkey I’ve now been favouring a trade down scenario to take one of Coward/Traore (Bryant would be tops but doubt he’s still there) and Yang.

I like Kon a lot as well. Not too concerned though, we've already got Gradey to hold us down. He's going to have a borderline All Star season this year.
At 9, I think Carter Bryant should be the pick. Something about the way he moves and shoots reminds me of star players.

100%
Been on this wagon for a long while now, but iirc CB doesn’t fit Jerry Lucas’ algorithm, so either Masai/Bobby stray from the norm, or we gotta watch CB go off in a different jersey.

What's Jerry Lucas' algorithm?

What's Jerry Lucas' algorithm?
He’s been posting our most likely selections based on a statistic based algorithm that he puts into Bartovik.

And what did he come up with?
Jerry Lucas wrote:Tier 1) Will not be available at Pick #9 (Worst rank no lower than 8):
Cooper Flagg
Dylan Harper
VJ Edgecombe
Tre Johnson
Tier 2) Could be available at Pick #9 but not guaranteed (Best rank no lower than 9 and Worst rank is lower than 9):
Jeremiah Fears
Ace Bailey
Kon Knueppel
Khaman Maluach
Derik Queen
Collin Murray-Boyles
Kasparas Jakucionis
Egor Demin
Nolan Traore
Noa Essengue
Carter Bryant
Tier 3) Other Masai-type FRPs that are probably mocked too low to be realistic options at Pick #9 (Best rank is lower than 9):
Asa Newell (Best rank is 11)
Jase Richardson (Best rank is 11)
Adou Thiero (Best rank is 20)
I highlighted names in green if they produced like Masai-type FRPs, and red if they did not produce like Masai-type FRPs. The non-highlighted names I'm unsure about. For any non-NCAA prospect, I can't evaluate with any degree of confidence because these Masai-type FRP queries only work with NCAA prospects.

Well, Bryant was pretty underutilized at Arizona so it's no surprise. Out of every NCAA player on that list I would imagine that he averaged the least minutes per game. Although I wonder how much advanced stats factor into this as Bryant's advanced metrics are pretty good.

He is Israeli-American and grew up in a small town in Illinois. He did play for the NT as a youth. I don't think he will be drafted to the Israeili army, just the NBA.
