Coby White for 10
Jock Landale, Aaron Holiday and 10th Overall Draft Pick for Coby White
Rockets add scoring without breaking the bank asset-wise.
Bulls add a top 10 pick to reset the salary timing on during a retool/rebuild.

Re: Coby White for 10
I think this would push us into the tax, and White just isnt very good.
Need to invest in Cam and Green rather than make a move like this.

Re: Coby White for 10
Seems a bit rich but if Houston could get some small sweetener back I'm ok with it but don't think Houston would start the repeater tax clock for Coby white

Re: Coby White for 10
I very much like the idea of this for both sides, but I think Jalen Green should be the main salary being moved here instead of Jock Landale. The Bulls would have 2 picks in the later half of the lottery, while the Rockets would have more consistent scoring with Coby White and would still have the assets to go star chasing afterwards.

Re: Coby White for 10
I don’t see White quite having this value.
Very few teams send out a top 10 pick in a strong draft for a role player….if they are I’ll offer Payton Pritchard.

Re: Coby White for 10
10th overall is a hell of a price to pay for 1 year of Coby White.

Re: Coby White for 10
I don't see how the Rockets could feasibly afford to resign White unless they have another trade to send out Green.
Maybe Green goes out in a Durant deal but that would likely mean the #10 would be going out in that deal too.

The HOU people who think White isn't any good will think even less of Huereter so they'll really hate this. They're wrong in the head but they'll yell.
I would say that unless HOU wants to to and feels it can resign White, yeah he's pretty good, nobody is worth the #10 pick for one year. Maybe adding another team or two for a broader mox.
All that said, the Bulls jump at #10 straight up for White. They might as well buy out Holiday because a bench guy with his 5th team isn't worth keeping around, he's behind Carter and Terry. Landale isn't much but he's the 3rd center after they trade Vucevic. On the other hand he and Holiday reduce what the Bulls can get back in a Vucevic trade, not a center no more guards.

Re: Coby White for 10
If they did this, what happens with potential Reed Shepherd minutes? Wouldn’t he ideally be in a Coby White-ish role off the bench?
As others have mentioned, it’d be hard to afford White beyond this year and may make giving up the pick a tough sell. I like the idea of making Green the outgoing salary though.

Rest in peace Mamba. There'll never be another Kobe.

Who would want Green? MAYBE BRK?
Coby and Nurkic to Hou
Vuc to Char
Green to BRK
#10 to Chi

This one feels right to me.
Overpay to dump bad money and keep roster balance.

Ya, I like this one. White is a better Green more or less. Huerter expires and brings shooting. Cleans the cap sheet for the impending extensions of JSJ, Tari and Thompson.
