I don't care how good your defense is when your offense is bottom 5. You are not gonna win a damn thing when you have either category in the toilet.

Thats why I keep saying Bane isn't enough. We need to add a draft pick like Clayton and sign someone like Ty Jerome too.

We are a defensive team and he just cant compete with KCP Black and Gary in front of him.

A player who in theory is an outside shooter who can’t get playing time on one of the worst shooting teams doesn’t help his case any. I mean for Gary Harris to be ahead of you in the depth chart speaks for itself.

Yeah but i did specify we are a defensive team.. in fact top3 in the league if i remember. That means to all outsiders it means Jett cant handle our defensive schemes atm.

I get it but most teams I feel like have the common sense to know we could’ve sacrificed some defense if he was able to provide anything offensively. Shooting has been our most obvious & glaring weakness as well as our offense is general. This is also still a young team so in theory he should be priority for development but he can’t get any meaningful minutes at all because he’s trash on offense also.

Adding the right guard to the rotation seems the key.

We should still have everyone on the table minus our top 4. Do we need to trade what’s drafted at 25 to help bring in that guard? I personally don’t want to draft Clayton to put him in the pressure cooker and again he is really just another combo guard.

Next, priority is getting our rotational guard potentially the 6th man. I keep kicking the center decision down the road but our guard rotation has been atrocious. We all would welcome more play making and shooting.

Do we have a list? Not a combo guard.

Tyus Jones even given lack of defense and size. Tyus has synergy with Bane when they both were in Memphis.

Edit adding to list

Tyus Jones
Davion Mitchell
Dennis Schroeder

Not necesserily my choice but an Isaac for Monk trade could be logical for both teams..

It sounds like most of the Kings fans want to get rid of Monk, too. Perfect match

Isaac for Monk? I will pull the trigger immediately.
However, I don’t think Kings will do that without receiving any FRP.

We are very thin at forward. This trade would be a disaster and i like Monk.
Also Isaac has more chance finishing than Monk would.
Monk train departed when we traded for 3rex.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

I like it too - even though I'm high on a big year from Isaac...we might have to add #25, given the minutes limitation/huge injury history

adding #25 might be a deal-breaker for me, but I'd do it with a couple future srps. Monk/AB off the bench would be a solid reserve unit for a serious team.

I don’t think ownership or our front office is ready to move on from Isaac still (which is maddening). And that will be a big negative about our offseason.

Our bench offense is slated to be a disaster. JI provides 15 minutes and doesn’t have a great track record on games played.

JI does meet the need for a forward in our rotation but he has lots of limitations.

I used to be Isaac fan. However, I have no confidence in his health now. A player who can only play 10-15 mins per game and only played 276 games in 8 years? No thanks…

I’d rather use MLE to sign another forward.
If we really trade Isaac and Jett for Monk, we can use MLE to sign Jake LaRavia.

Sabonis- Isaac is my wet pants pair from NBA 2K 2020 or so

But in that time frame we all thought Isaac won't shoot 3s like Shaq.

OKC is so loaded with young talent and draft picks, Isaiah Joe for Jonathan Issac seems like a fitting pick for both teams.

You do realize JI is high risk to be out? He can’t ramp up to cover when others are out.

I’m not a believer in Isaiah Joe.

career 39% three-point shooter and only 25. I get it KCP crushed us, but KCP also was past his prime. Joe isn’t even on that prime zone yet.

Adding a specialist who does one thing just isn’t enough. We need players who can play in most circumstances.

That definitely isn’t JI anymore, I can’t take another season of wondering why this guy is only playing 12 to 15 minutes per game
