Not sure what his ceiling is, but he looks to have a high floor. 12 seems to be a little too high for him so I think the best move would be to try to move down. I wonder if the heat would be willing to do a cony white and 12 for ware and 20 trade.

Board was pretty high on him (I still am) a few weeks ago. I don't think 12 would be a stretch at all, especially if some of our targets are already off the board and we're stuck looking at Queen or Newell.

The big knocks on Coward is that he only played a handful of games this year at Washington St and the comp he played against at E. Washington wasn't all that great. There are also questions on his on the ball offense. I'm not overly concerned about that though. He's an elite catch and shooter with some very good defensive skills. If you envision Matas staying at the 4, Coward would be a great offensive compliment at the 3.

Yeah, catch and shoot seems to be his strength. In the brief time I’ve spent watching him, he reminds me of Danny green

Didn't think of that comparison. That's not bad. I'm a bit intrigued by his post game. Definitely wasn't something I was expecting to see when I researched him. He's very good in that mid post. Not sure how much that will be shown at the next level with the way modern defenses are, but it's nice to see he's got some nuance to his game. Leads me to believe he's got a lot of untapped offensive potential.

While I'm a pretty big Demin fan, Brooklyn would be a great fit for him. They need a facilitator and he's a very unique one. Also, him going before 10 should make another prospect drop to us. In a perfect world 2 of the 4 would go before us (CMB, Queen, Demin, and KJ).

The closer we get to the draft the lower my risk tolerance gets making me simply want Nique Clifford more and more.

For the play makers I’m excited about KJ, Demin, and Wolf.

If the Bulls do, you would be complaining to much to ever hear it.

NBA fan logic we need to trade one of two best players because (Player X) one needs to shine more.

Less than a week out. This is when the truthful board starts shaping up.

Lots has come out past few days with Ace, Queen etc.

My board is still Noa KJ Coward if gone trade back for Beringer and Saraf or Drake.

I fully expect AK to take Demin if he’s there and then take a big in the 2nd.

Prove me wrong AK

Read this in-depth scouting report on Maluach and I'm 100% sold. Maybe it's just having to watch Vooch for the last few years just be useless at the rim or maybe it's just the thought of Giddey getting to throwing lobs to 7-2 Maluach but I would forgive AKME for everything if we walkout of the draft with him.

Check out this report on Beringer. He has a lot in common with Maluach in the sense that they are both super young, came to basketball super late, and have major strengths / tools.

I like Beringer in a trade down scenario. Very raw, but you can see the tools.

Definitely agree. The same reasons we dislike Vuc are the same reasons I dislike drafting Queen. We'll be committing our foreseeable future to a traffic cone at the rim again. I'm sick of seeing that drop zone defense where teams abuse us all night.

Asa Newell seems to be the most commonly sourced name to us in recent weeks. KC and Cowley have been on it. Very likely hes there when 12 rolls around and he will be our guy.

Not a sexy pick but personally, I’m good with it. High energy big man who played pretty well in a loaded SEC this year. Was a big time recruit as well. I think he has some potential to develop his shot. Hes got a little Joakim in him in regards to his motor and attitude.

Didn’t know Clifford could pass!

24 years old hurts him but he has improved and the work shows.

Poor shooter, bad assist/turnover ratio, average defender.. seems smart kid,but still pass.

I rather take Essengue, Sorber, Fleming, Beringer among bigs than Newell or Queen..

obi toppin balling out in the finals has helped make me a lot more receptive to the idea of drafting newell tbh

i know toppin was way more skilled offensively as a prospect, but i can see newell developing into a similar kind of role if his shot is legit, and he seems like a much stronger defensive prospect to boot

It would be good either if some other team believes this stuff and drafts him ahead or 12 OR it's actually true and we do.

Obi's strong play in the Finals helps me feel vindicated about having him as a top 3 option back in the PWill draft. Ain't no stoppin Obi Toppin!

I really hope he's not the pick, but I do agree his name has been gaining too much traction for there to not be anything to it. Hope someone else picks him first.

Am I missing something on Rasheer Fleming? I don't see him mentioned enough.

Return to Chicago Bulls
