Well whoever wins on Sunday is gonna win it all. I'm calling it right now.

I've decided the most Pacer thing that could EVER happen is for the Pacers to Win the Championship.

SGA win MVP.

Make it happen basketball Gods.

TJ and Obi

TJ and Obi it’s two guys that I’m absolutely certain they’ll leave their hearts and hassle on the floor , Pascal most likely too

I’m more skeptical which version of Naismith Nembhard and Hali we gonna see , hopefully game 6 version , and please no Mathurin at all , I get it that he’s young and all but he hurting Pacers in a big way , careless turnovers, bad assists , bad shots , missed free throws , this guy is a mess

This was barely funny the first 9000x we saw this
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

I will say this before game 7… you don’t deserve to win games if you don’t make free throws.

Weather report for Sunday in OKC is showing a sunny day with clear skies, and no storms. Think that bodes better for the Pacers.

Not sure why i am leaning Pacers, not just to cover the spread but to win the entire thing. Am i dumb?

Maybe, on side of the argument the Thunder have been great at home and should. ON the other side is they had a chance to close out the finals and gave such weak performance. I expect the Thunder to win though that game 6 effort by the Thunder is concerning.

The ONLY thing that brings any kind of hope with that idea is the thought that maximum revenue for NBA would come from a game that goes to overtime...well, preferably 2nd OT even
But the realist in me can't deny that an OKC blowout with FTA getting rewarded for each and every flop is way more likely.

Great series, and I know that as a basketball junkie I should be appreciating this defensive slugfest between two deep teams with lovable role players, but if I could get a quarter in game 7 where Hali and SGA just go bucket for bucket I’m going to be a happy man

All the NBA Finals game 7s I’ve witnessed have been lower scoring. The nerves are insane, defensive intensity at its peak, and officials letting guys play. This is baked in to the betting lines with the over/under total points set at 215.5, the lowest total of the series thus far by a good margin. If it were to go over that total, it would be the highest scoring game 7 since 1962 celts vs lakers (13 game 7s ago for context). No team has scored more than 95 points in a finals game 7 in almost 40 years (have to go back to 1988).

Im sure it has happened, but I cant ever remember the NBA playing a finals game on a Saturday. It's been played on every other day of the week this century.

I can't recall the last time an NBA Finals game was played on a Saturday.

Maybe back in the '80s?! Lol
I forget.

Maybe the stat nerds at E$PN can provide this gem for us later on with the answer.

All the Scott Foster angst (and derision) is such a copout.

This game comes down to Carlisle vs Daigneault, and I'm taking the master vs the student. Marc is a good coach, but Carlisle is great. He'll have Indy playing like it's their last day on Earth, while Daigneault will stick with "keep playing our system". For game 7, it means Indy will have the advantage in desperation, 50-50 balls, rebounds, steals, you name it. TJ is gonna disrupt again.
'Cos it's easier to try
Than to prove it can't be done

My understanding is that more people go out on Saturday while more people stay at home watching TV on Sunday. You can rely on the network knowing which night maximises their ad revenue.

They shud cater to the world… they call it “world championship” and lot of us dont live outside the US. I could enjoy the game if it was Saturday. Sigh
