Draft is almost here and if we keep the pick or acquire more here is my Big Board:
First Round
Carter Bryant - Likely gone by our pick, definitely gone by our pick, didnt show much offense, didnt need to
Nique Clifford - older but also improved, mature, plays with purpose. Culture fit
Drake Powell - Likely our most realistic option, I have a feeling Spo Riley and the scout team all agree here for different reasons
Rasheer Flemming- shooter that might develop in other areas
Cedric Coward - too slow, too much unknown?
Noah Penda - defense potential
Adou Thiero - best athlete of the list, Kuminga level, shot is WIP and injury is a concern, MIA has been burned before

Second Round
Kam Jones - solid all around but not athletic.
Johni Broome - Reminds me of Haslem, in college as well.
Rocko Zikarski - Size, hustle
Bogoljub Markovic -too intriguing to pass up
Tyrese Proctor -Shooting potential, big guard

Undrafted
Jamir Watkins - All around, plays D
Chaz Lanier - Shooter
Javon Small - overlooked due to injury
Sion James -Dirty Work
Dink Pate - Project
Tamar Bates -throw to Summer league wall see if he sticks
Grant Nelson - Underrated
1. Herro 2. Bol Bol 3. Seko 4. Bruno
unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

This is a no-trades mock where each GM controls one team and makes its draft picks. You’ll be making real-time selections with a 4-hour pick clock (paused overnight). Just show up, draft well, and rep your squad.

To claim the Heat:

Add your name and team on the Google Sheet linked in the first post.

The draft is almost here—come claim Miami and make sure they’re represented by someone who knows their stuff!

Since no Heat peeps expressed interest, I am picking for you guys. The Mock has started on the Trades and Transactions Board. Quote me if you have suggestions. I see team needs as…
1. BPA
2. 2 way back court player
3. Defensive minded wing
4. Versatile switchable big/swing

Feels like our pick is getting traded in the Durant deal. Jase Richardson and Will Riley have been the only top 30 workouts. Been spotted at WCJ, Clifford, and Coward proday combine workouts.

That is absolutely BONKERS.

I can't wrap my mind around us not doing the minimal homework, as a team desperate for talent, we're acting like the pick is small change to us? We're **** BROKE.

Is there even 1 team out there that had a lazier pre-draft process then us?!

Heat probably using ChatGPT to figure out who to draft.
For a long time it gave me nightmares, witnessing an injustice like that. It’s a constant reminder of just how unfair this world can be.I can still hear them taunting him, Silly Rabbit tricks are for kids.I mean why couldn’t they just give him some cereal?

If the Heat really haven't worked out or checked out very many first round caliber players this close to the draft, this pick has to be gone. They take this stuff as serious as anyone in the league. Its probably their greatest skill atm. That pick is goooooone. Hopefully for KD.

Now, whats next for the 20th pick? I still think they'll trade it away, but for what? I know people are worried about DeRozen, but it seems like thats the one player they HAVEN'T talked trading it for.

On the t and t board mock we are on 16. Jase. Nique, Egor, and Will are all still on the board. Multifaceted ball handlers seem like your need.Ben Saraf still there as well

Plenty of options. A PG or wing would be my preference.

Of those dudes who is your fave? Fleming also may be there, not a guard or a wing but in my book BPA.
Edit. Egor and Jase are off. I’ll go Nique if he is still there. I know Miami worked out Will Riley though…

We were at Nique's pro day but my personal preference for this team is Saraf.

Who is nique?

Heat probably trading the pick anyway.
