Now this is the summer content we’ve been missing! The only thing we’re missing now is footage of Embiid in a Dragon Ball Z style recovery chamber.

Jake Fischer made it seem like anyone who trades up to #3 is doing it for VJ. At this point, it is unlikely that anyone would trade up to us for Ace (he said Ace's market likely starts at #6, with VJ, Tre, Kon, and possibly Fears going ahead of him).

We should auction VJ to the highest bidder. I hope someone loves him as much as our draft analysts and will therefore pay up, but I have serious doubts about that.

Would be great if we trade down with WAS then grab Ace at #6, then potentially trade him for even more assets, like to BKN at #8.

Come away with a haul of future picks and grab Noa at #8 overall.
Jake Fischer said he heard rumblings that Washington wants to trade to #3 to select Edgecombe, but still thinks it's more likely the Sixers stay pat and select Edgecombe

Coulibaly and #6 would be sick. #6 and #18 is probably more in the realm of what would be offered.

What's the likely haul look like in that scenario?

Trading 3 for 6 & 18 ?

Trading 6 for 8 & 19 ? Or 8 & 26or27?

Best case, end up with 8, 18 & 19 ?

Might as well hammer Brooklyn straight up for 8, 19 and our 2027 pick back.

I assumed Washington wanted Bailey. Brooklyn also wants him and have been calling to move up ahead of Washington and Utah since Ainge doesn’t give af and would draft him. 8 is a bad spot to be at tho because you’ll miss out on VJ, Tre and Kon.

If BKN wants Ace they need to pay up. Make sure the world knows he's going at #4 or #5, so they need to trade up to #3 to get him.

#8 + #19 + #26 + #36 will get it done. Otherwise Ace will fade away into obscurity in Utah or Charlotte.

Do we really want 5 rookies on the team? Wouldn't make sense to do a trade for some future draft picks instead?

Looking at our roster and what we need and drafting Edgecomb is objectification at its finest. No consideration of fit and talent already on our roster. Just gonna add a not so star upside worth pick we don't need because he looks like Jimmy butler and had good character. Oh and because he worked out. If I was Edgecomb I would have work out and interviewed too because I dont consider him a top 4 pick....

We don't need to keep all of them. Can trade some of them away or combine the picks after #8 to trade up.

E.g. Grab Essengue at #8

Then trade #19 + #26 up to #14 and grab Coward.

Then trade #35 for a future lotto-protected 1st and use #36 on Markovic.

Grand slam draft!

Why would we take Thabo Sefolosha at #8 in prospects = their NBA comp world?

Ace and Cam Thomas ending up on the same team is gonna be hilarious. Sick tank potential. Especially with them being the big cap space team in a year with no free agents. They should collect assets as a trade facilitator taking on salary and tank hard.

If that's the case make sure we trade #3 for #8 and their own 26 first round pick.

One of the dumbest comparisons I've seen.

You must be really desperate to defend your boy VJ Melton.

There isn't one, it's the case where athleticism, and defense make people wonder if he'll be a superstar, just because he got better on offense in the last 2 years.

Tre Johnson is a generational shooter which every team in the league would covet. You can find good defenders a dime a dozen. VJ is not someone you take with the #3 pick when your team is on the brink of losing it's franchise star to injuries. You swing for the fences, I said the same about Ace, but he's a jackoff, Tre is the next best option. At worst he's a great 3 point shooter which every team can use. At best, he's one of the top scorers in the league.

https://www.espn.ph/nba/story/_/id/44888875/nba-draft-2025-projecting-30-best-prospects

Pelton got Kon and VJ over Dylan Harper in his latest projections.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the Spurs take VJ over Harper. VJ has a more promising shooting profile, with a better off the dribble jumper #s from both midrange and 3 compared to Harper. While he struggled early in the season, he turned it around during conference play, posting a 58% TS after the first two months.

Teams reportedly high on VJ
- Sixers
- Hornets
- Wizards
- Pelicans?

I think Jazz would like to join but they know VJ wont be available at their spot.
