From Gary Washburn in today's Boston Globe:
There were rumors that Milwaukee coach Doc Rivers would assume a role in the front office and leave coaching to either former assistant Sam Cassell, now with the Celtics, or ex-Lakers coach Darvin Ham. But Rivers indicated he intends to return as coach as the Bucks are prepared to keep superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo and attempt to rebuild around him …

I’d take Sam and give him a chance as HC.

Sam yes, Darvin hell no
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I swear he was a good listen back on, I wanna say 2019-2020?, but suddenly a weird hate for the Bucks was injected into the podcast and almost all their takes.
**** weird.
Tried a few times to listen here and there over the years, but could not stand them...

I'm assuming that guy's source of the rumors were this forum's trade and transactions threads. And they don't matter since Doc is still the coach of the team and thus an impediment to progress.

Duncan doesn't usually negotiate for teams on those mock offseasons does he? I haven't listened to who had the Bucks yet

But either way that's an awful deal for the Bucks
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Still trying to figure out how his deal works under the cap. Those guys are good with the cap. Surprising.
Just worked on Soptrac. Kuzma/Livingston for Jrue in the new league year.

Nate notes at the end more negotiation should have taken place and it's likely Bos would have accepted this less the the 2032 pick swap.

Whomever was Milwaukee was also Boston. That's where Nate jumps in and I believe managed Boston. He again noted at the end Boston in this scenario would likely accept without the pick swap.

I'd be so salty if we're the team that bails Boston out of that Jrue contract. Some team is gonna do it (for the KP deal as well), just please don't let it be us.

I do think Jrue could be a great complement to KPJ on both ends of the floor. Obviously the contract is tough

no one is going to bail out Boston unless they get desperate. We are not so close to a title run that we would be that desperate. So then it becomes a question of: "At what price does trading for Jrue become worth it for us?" If we can get something tasty enough, i would absolutely take Jrue back. I doubt he wants to come back here, though. That was a pretty rough breakup.

Also thought in a perfect world we would have traded Middleton instead of Jrue. Obviously Kris was a FA but the fit it pretty good.

The problem is we are putting more resources toward over 35 players. Clearly not the recipe for success in today's NBA.

This is revisionist history. Jrue was coming off being dominated by Jimmy & his 3rd straight playoffs where his ts% didn't even hit 50. We needed Khris to create offense in the halfcourt. He also had great chemistry w/ Giannis. Had more value here than anywhere else.

We should have traded for someone else other than Lillard, cuz you alluded to us not getting any younger, he needed to be a #1 option, & doesn't play defense. We could have traded both Jrue & Khris, but Holiday is the one who absolutely had to go.

Just had to drop in and say **** Nate Duncan.

Can't stand that blowhard. Not to mention him and his podcast partner Danny Leroux have the absolute worst voices for an audio medium. Grating.

Pat opted in, we can trade him + a 2nd for Hauser now.

Kuzma and a 2nd for Demar DeRozan. Both 2 years, Kuz slightly less money.

Bobby/Sims
Giannis/ Bobby/Hauser
AJG/Hauser
DZ/GTJ
KPJ/Rollins

Minutes distributed in a way that minimizes Sims and DZ with Giannis.

Minus a Giannis injury that should be enough for the 6th seed. And then you have Dame + DZ on expiring deals plus the 31 and 32 pick.

Spencer Dinwiddie would be a nice add I think. Guy can be a third wheel imo. Paul Reed id look into as a big as well.

If they let Brook walk, even if Bibby stays and they retain Sims, they’d still need another rotational big and Reed would be a good add on a min salary.

What’s the cost on Dinwiddie? Can he play D at all?

Kuz for DD is one of the few ways I’d say yes to DD. He’s much more efficient than Kuz.

We need to rearrange deck chairs this off season for sure (Kuzma). Derozan would be my third choice but very acceptable. John Collins with or without Colin Sexton would be my 1b choice and Michael Porter Jr would be my 1a choice of the names that have been tossed out there. I’m cool with Derozan for Kuzma though.

Paul Reed doesn't seem like the biggest Doc Rivers guy to be signing up for the minimum here.

And by doesn't seem like the biggest Doc Rivers guy I mean I think he might genuinely hate him.
