Kai is the undisputed king of Twitch. The younger generation is all about twitch. LeBron is doing his marketing to stay popular with the younger generation. You can tell how much these guys idolize him. They're going to be completely starstruck when they meet him.

Great heads up. I literally turned on the stream just as they met him. I've never watched this Kai Cenat guy or watch Twitch but looks like an interesting platform. Guess I'm old

LeBron's post-playing career is definitely going to be more Shaq than MJ. He loves the spotlight too much.

I used to put some Angry joe Twitch streams in the background when I played something that does not require much listening. But now, Angry Joe puts all his past streams on Youtube, so I think I haven't visited Twitch in years.

Very popular Twitch streamer as posted. But would have been informing to know what content he actually streams, if we care, we probably don't.

Yup, but I don't think he'll satisfy himself with being a cheap entertainer and shoes guy like Shaq.

He wants to be an owner, but with recent sales of NBA teams, good luck with that. Of course he will find a party that will fund him and in reality own the team, and that will be good enough for some media and fanboys to call him owner, but in reality, he will be more Shaq the owner of Sacramento Kings, than Steve Balmer. For me in Europe, it is easy to ignore American NBA media I don't like, so I do not think LeBron will bother me tho.

Kai does this with all of the major celebs. He's had Kevin Hart, 21 Savage, Drake etc. His reach in Hollywood and in media social circles (and his immense wealth) allows him to pour more resources into a typical livestream than the average streamer. He's eclipsed the internet sphere though as well, getting McDonalds/T-Mobile commericals alongside names like Snoop.
All of that impartiality being stated, his streams generally are a bunch of annoying zoomers bouncing off the walls like they all just took a rail of nose candy.
Edit: Even now, he has Tom Brady and Vic on there too. His reach is impressive.

He needs to be careful with these Saudi-backed NBA competitor rumors if he has ownership aspirations. Steven A Smith alluded to him not being well-liked in NBA circles.
"So, when you saw this story about a five-on-five team and LeBron James has nothing to do with it— well, Maverick Carter does; that's bad enough for them," Smith said. "Because even though it's not a threat, how dare you support anything that will compromise our bottom line?"
"And it doesn't even have to be accurate," Smith said. "It'd just be an excuse to have negative feelings towards LeBron, because some owners look for it anyway. Some executives for other teams look for it anyway. He is not the most liked dude in the world. Not in NBA circles. That's just a fact.
"I'm not saying he did anything wrong, I'm not blaming him, I'm just telling you there are people in very powerful positions associated with the NBA who feel otherwise. I'm not guessing. I'm telling you what I know. ... So, it would behoove LeBron, if he wants ownership down the line, to try and play nice with some people."

LeBron is pretty much anti-mainstream NBA media though lately. I think he'll either go with ownership route or he'll try to redefine basketball media. In terms of popularity, he'll easily beat any NBA talking head, his random podcast generates great numbers on YT for NBA podcast content. That would be interesting.

I pro that, because current mainstream American NBA media is insulting, and I like what LeBron was doing with Mind the game, that was kinda exactly what I wanted. I was a fan of Mind the game season one, I only watched very small part Of Steve Nash season, but I was disappointed how it pivoted away from X and O content, and just became regular talk show. When I listen or watch people talk about Basketball, I want to learn something, I want to feel that I am listening to smart people, fact idiots like SAS are popular and successful pisses me off honestly, I hate that kind of media and I hate humanity for making it popular, guys like SAS to me are same cloth as like Kardashian, its just trash tv.

Nash isn't looking for a coaching job, unlike Reddick where every episode felt like an interview

A twitch streamer. The reason why most adults are unfamiliar with his content is because he is popular with kids.

I didn't think that, because everyone knows that all the players know all these plays, not like anyone in front office saw that pod and was impressed, you need far more than that in a job interview for a coaching job. JJ just wanted to teach people and discuss strategies with his friend on a pod.
I always wondered why all these ex players or coaches do not talk about this stuff on TV or podcast, they just talk same crap realgm would say, and my only assumption is that they think no one would care about x and os, so they instead just talk ''who has to step up'' and bunch of nothingness of that sort. JJ proved there was audience for x and o stuff.
