That tends to be how they go. In my experience, refs are balanced and also let them play in-game 7s. Which is also why we haven't seem a team score 100 in a finals game 7 in almost 40 years.

If Pacers wins it all this needs to be framed and displayed at their practice facility

If Foster is on the job and it goes similar to game 4 then game 7 will be talked about as one of the all-time asterisks. Maybe not quite to the level of the 1972 Olympics but it'll be remembered.

Hope we get a proper G7 and both teams turn up. Forster might be reffing but there's too many eyes on this to blantly rig this either way. He is a very experienced crew chief end of the day. Hope they let them play just hard enough and call it same both sides. Let's go I can't wait.

Already heard from my sources $ilver made the call
Congrats Indiana you tried your hardest
Yes, I agree. Congrats OKC.
Signed, Sealed and Hand Delivered.
I can see Nembhard and Nesmith getting called for 2 quick fouls the first 6-7 minutes.

Can't wait to find out who Adam Silver scripted to be the winner tomorrow.
Given that Indiana is the underdog and most people are rooting for them, it makes sense that he would script the story with a happy ending. Maybe he's playing the long game though, setting up OKC as the evil empire antagonist for a more satisfying plot payoff in the future? Who knows. I guess we'll find out tomorrow!

The storybook ending is pacers win and then the thunder trade for Durant and then the next year he wins a title with them. It also messes up how we view Durant historically if he wins a finals mvp and how we view him historically.

Hopefully they do as good a job trying to win in this game as they did the first half of last game

Some of you, I wonder why you bother to watch the NBA. You'd rather make negative pronouncements and try to say "I told you so" than enjoy the games.

LeBron is going to run out of the tunnel in the third quarter, WWE style, and sub in for the Thunder. Then Steph will come out of the other tunnel and throw on a Pacers jersey. Ratings will increase tenfold.

A lot of people who don't seem to be basketball fans in here. The primary topic should be how amazing both of these teams have played, how well they're coached, how amazing the environments have been, and how lucky we are to get to watch a game 7 NBA finals. But they just want to complain and troll. Embarrassing behavior.

I doubt anyone will care much if the Pacers get robbed.

I mean, you have a ref shrouded in controversy reffing the most important game of the year, when there are many alternatives and just three games ago there was more controversy. It’s fair to call it out.
