Only caught the 1st qtr so far, but it seems exactly how Seattle wants to do it. Get stops and run.
Just like the last game, SEA just plays with so much more energy than Vegas.

Just looking at the box score, it's still a concern to see the Storm lean so heavily on 6 players.

Another brutal national TV game, but hopefully the people that tuned in appreciate what they see in the Mercury.

AT and all those shooters is just unfair.
Especially if Chicago is going to play terrible defense (Citron would really come in handy).

Phoenix is only the 3rd team ever (1st since 1999) to have 4 rookies averaging 20 minutes per game. Like most years, Phoenix did not have a draft pick this year.

The Aces' inability to find any sort of depth is inexcusable.

McBride alone outscored the Sparks 15-12 in the 4th as the Lynx run away with it.

Been a tough year for Angel. Both her rebounds and scoring are modestly down from last season which is not what one expects in Year 2. And while her assists have doubled, as befits her point forward task, so have her turnovers, so that she remains at a 1:1 assist-to-TO ratio.

But that's such a dysfunctional team, maybe nobody could look good.

Hopefully we can get some good weekend national TV-ish games today (ESPN3 count?).

Obviously, we know the Sky will get blown out by the Dream. Aces-Fever should be good in theory, but the Aces have come up small at every chance this season. Fever probably blow them out.

But we've got Liberty-Storm and Mystics-Wings. Those games should be fun.

I also just don’t know how her fit works. Chicago has been one of the worst defensive teams in the league despite running a double big lineup. I’m a Sixers nba fan and I think of how a healthy Embiid could always anchor the defense and make the defense at least average by making life miserable for people attacking the rim (which also lets the perimeter players defend the three point line). So to me it’s like, can Angel ever anchor a defense at the 5, and if the answer is no, can she space the floor well enough to play with a center that lives in the paint. Just seems like a tough player to fit into a roster.

Sydney Johnson losing his ****. In the most awesome way possible.

Hopefully it can help turn the tide here for the Mystics.

Citron making her case in the ROY of the Bowl in Washington today (though PaoPao offended she wasn't invited).

Been a great battle between her and Paige. Paige is starting to get going.

All the attention on Paige allowed Arike to go off in the 2nd.

So glad to finally get some good games on a weekend afternoon.

However this WIngs-Mystics game ends, I think we can take Koclanes' head and beautiful locks off the chopping block for now.

Sorry, I'm going to remind with every chance I get. Some teams in the league scrurried out of a top 3 pick because they didn't believe in Sonia and Kiki.

Has the league (whichever one W or NBA) just decided they aren't going to show the Liberty-Storm game?

1st quarter basically over. The League Pass stream on NBA TV is just Pacers-Thunder shoot around and commercials. Maybe it's a YouTube TV league Pass thing.

ETA: Found a YT feed. Looks like Seattle is in a dogfight with NY missing JJ, Fiebich, and Sab.
