Very popular Twitch streamer as posted. But would have been informing to know what content he actually streams, if we care, we probably don't.

Yeah, I'll look it up at some point, I was just curious what his schtick was... I'm assuming it's just a lot of yelling and shock and awe, with some bad "pranks" mixed in. That's what seems to appeal to the masses.

He’s a standard internet ‘personality,’ which means he’s not really smart, not really funny, and doesn’t really have anything to say, but is sort of likeable and entertaining in a lowest common denominator way. He’s like the guy at work who tells dirty jokes to keep things interesting.

For people not of that generation it’s maybe hard to understand why he’d be famous, but younger people literally hang out on the internet, as if they were at a bar or at a friend’s house. Kai Cenat is one of many dudes who just kinda sets a tone that makes it seem like you’re hanging out and goofing with him, and the point is that he doesn’t really have any talent or smarts or whatever. Just finding ways to pass the time that don’t challenge anyone or do anything it glide along.

All the streamers who rely on constantly screaming fall off eventually, even if they are absurdly massive. The reality is little kids with lax parents are who get obsessed with streamers who are over the top because Twitch is free and accessible to little kids. But kids eventually all age out of that content and the streamers either become a sad caricature of themselves as they chase the dragon of maintaining views and popularity, or they shift to try and do acting/comedy/actual entertainment business. Often they can't though because they're just popular for being obnoxious in the same way reality show stars are. That's where Kai Cenat is right now. His fan base is all little kids who are growing up and there is a MASSIVE effort to try and shift Kai Cenat into being like a Kevin Hart type of figure in entertainment because he's also a short, obnoxious, loud, black guy who tries to HAM it up for the camera. It'd be like if 12 years ago there was a massive mainstream push to try and make Mike "The Situation" or DJ Pauly D from Jersey Shore into actual actors or something

It will be so entertaining to see him struggle for attention once the career is over man. I cant wait. We have a few TV formats here in europe for washed former stars - musicians, athletes, social media personalities and so called player wives (current or former wives of football players) where they can ask to join to somehow get some publicity and attention. Normally a guy like LBJ would not need to do anything like that, hes close to a billionaire if not past that point. He will never need to do it for money. But what if noone wants to have him on their show any more because he would continue to talk about himself and nothing else?
