OKC has been so inconsistent in these playoffs.

They're clearly top to bottom the best team on paper, and there's certainly times when they play like it. But they also have quite a few games that are like this, where you'd wonder how they'd ever got here if this was the first game you'd watched.

Still mad about Indy blowing G4. That was probably the series. Had they gone up 3-1 this would have been their close out game at home. Instead they now have to do it the hard way.

Yeah but don't we prefer that?

They're our rivals and we shouldn't want them to win but they're closer to our DNA than OKC is.

I really disliked Indy all year. Didn’t really think about OKC. Now I find myself cheering for Indy for probably the last time for the next few years.

Yeah, but I picked Indy to win it so my ego is 100% invested right now  I jumped on that bandwagon relatively early so I'd be feeling awfully smart if they actually pulled it off. And I still have a lot of respect and admiration for Carlisle. He's a real one.

And I'm not actually certain that Indy winning would be bad for us. It drives up the cost of retaining talent and makes it harder for them to keep their team together. It also puts a bigger target on their back from the rest of the league. This year doesn't matter to us anymore. We're done. What makes it harder for the Pacers to win the future? How many repeat champs are we seeing? It's tough at the top.

What we should do is take a cue from them and their Siakam move.

Shamelessly quoting myself as I finally got a series prediction right for once  . Disregard the OKC gentleman's sweep I predicted earlier in the thread...

Pacers appear to be the deeper and more mature team. Youngsters on OKC may be more talented --- we'll see in game 7. SGA IMO has not lived up to his hype in these finals. He scores but his points are not as impactful. At times he takes bad shots and goes one on two and three without looking to pass. Will HCA be the difference in game 7?

Ya it's gonna be tough to beat OKC at their place. Maybe they choke since they're so young and Indy steals it :P

I want Indy but thinks OKC wins.. Home-court will help an inexperienced team.

I just hope it's a close game. I barely slept yesterday from all the heat and war ****, and really need 8pm to hurry up.

Hoping for Indy, but OKC by 8 seems about right. Hope I’m wrong.
