I don't really hate this suggestion, but I'm also not sure about giving the Rockets our 29th pick when they're already getting KD and Smith Jr should be in the deal with the 10th pick anyways for getting KD! And without additional value added.

But if, say the Hornets were to send back the 33rd and 34th picks, then I guess I'd consider this a equitable exchange outcome.

But it still doesn't compare value wise to the Toronto offer and how we could leverage that 9th pick alongside of Barrett and Quickly.

That guy is reading ideas from the Trade forums. He's got no sources
. It's too good to be true for Suns.... although Hornets should definitely think about it. Ball and Green seems pretty exciting.

Jesus man he literally says its just a "trade idea" in the post. No claims of sources or inside info.

Just don't want another Flex like source being linked around here. They are all just making it up.

Ishbia is the NBAs village bicycle. Everyone gets a ride. Not only are the Heat going to get KD for nothing they are going to strip Ishbia of his remaining assets.

Tbf I'm pretty sure almost everyone here was fine with just getting rid of Martin on our own to get under the apron anyway

I liked his grit when he came back from injury.

June 30th is the last day for the Suns to use that Duncan Robinson’s contract and reduce his payroll badly just with that move before the start of next season.

I would say that there are 3 soft deadlines for the KD's trade:

1) Today. Presumably we would have final offers this weekend.

2) Draft's night.

3) 30th June. Last day before the start of the new season.

Therein lies the problem with ALL the Green stuff that was thrown up in the previous pages: Noone wants him. Not even his own team - much less anybody else. So the idea that we get a good(ish) player and pick(s) for him is laughable, especially with our front office. So just beware that - or have another trade for Booker up your sleeves, and keep this mor*nic mental midget for the next 1-2 years, maybe he'll yield you a pick as an expiring, but other than that its not happening.

Well, actually he's stating that both teams with top 10 lottery picks (obviously) interest in Kevin Durant and are in discussions with the suns via trade possibilities.

But yes, of the two, he points out that KDs' preference between the two would be the Houston Rockets. But both teams are engaged in trade discussions, and both teams have legitimate interest in trading for KD.

Lol! True.
But I'd hope people can still see the value in these draft picks not only under this current CBA.

But obviously for the cost control, percieved desirable upside as trade assets for other pieces, for an injection of young athletic energizers to an aging " unbothered " team as what've witnessed with the effects that Dunn, Ighodaro and Gillespie brought to our team that boosted our competitiveness.

Also, considering the facts of our current situation being that we're almost completely devoid of young athletic talent, devoid of any legitimately desirable assets, and devoid of any ranges of cost controlled desirable upside salaries.

So taking all of those factors into legitimate consideration, then yes, I'd hope more people would learn to love draft picks more! Or at least the inherent value those draft picks bring as either a conduit for talent acquisition or as trade currency as people are witnessing in today's nba climate.

I think it will end up being Houston

It will involve Green. Hopefully not for Bridges from Charlotte - but Jabari or Eason to the suns.

Yes, this is from 22 hours ago!
My point in sharing this is that Phoenix is not going to relent on their threshold position and has stopped communicating with Houston if they're not going to meet their asking price.

Also, Phoenix is discussing KD trades with Miami, BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY Toronto because Toronto willing to take KD as a rental and still give up premium value does give Phoenix legitimate leverage as opposed to the BS some of these nba pundits with vested interests to their own terms are falsely promoting.

Whitmore is actually a budget version of Jaylen Brown. So not at all a bad inclusionary value piece to swing a KD/ Houston trade honestly.
