Bunch of Eeyores.

A lot of people who don't seem to be basketball fans in here. The primary topic should be how amazing both of these teams have played, how well they're coached, how amazing the environments have been, and how lucky we are to get to watch a game 7 NBA finals. But they just want to complain and troll. Embarrassing behavior.

I mean, you have a ref shrouded in controversy reffing the most important game of the year, when there are many alternatives and just three games ago there was more controversy. It’s fair to call it out.

Really? How do you know who is reffing Game 7? NBA won't announce it until Sunday morning.

It's not calling it out. It's people getting their excuses lined up if things don't go the way they want. And if it does go their way, it'll be "despite" the refs and the league office. Everyone sounds like Trump and his cronies before the election: if they win, it's fraud, if we win, well good for us.
'Cos it's easier to try
Than to prove it can't be done

The votes made me laugh. The hate is real. I don't see this game being that close either, definitely see OKC winning by double digits.

Vote on this board represents more who people root for then who ppl think will win. All of the casual fans are on the Pacers side bcs all of the lets say non-ethical hoop stuff that OKC does, and Pacers are huge underdogs which makes people side with them.

If you want real predicitons who will win you should go to betting odds. OKC is at -290 now and Pacers at +235 which IMHO feels generous to the Pacers.
OKC destroyed everyone at home and lost 2 only games that they basicly gave away.
There is always a chance, thats why the odds are not more spreaded but unless something crazy happens and OKC doesnt **** their pants it should be a cruise for them.

Wishing good luck to the Pacers! One of the most legendary seasons if not the most.. Too bad Haliburton is hurt. Hope they come out gunz blazing regardless.
No hate to the OKC. Imo, probably the best defense to ever step on a basketball court.
Good assessment:

Sticking with my pre-series prediction of Pacers in 7. This could be a dream season for them. Doubted in everyone round, Halliburton getting labeled overrated only to be clutch over and over in the postseason.

OKC probably feels desperate. You don’t have a season like theirs and a shot like this very often. They were the favorites most of the year. The pressure is on them to finish this.

I'll be surprised if pacers don't win.

Can’t believe more people bet for Pacers in this forum…
If I am OkC fan, I’d be happy since the betting for game 7s is always wrong here

The only thing i can positively predict this series is that there won't be a game 8

Like that would ever happen. If people have a narrative, they're not going to change it. I've been critical of the officiating around OKC but this thread has been ridiculous lately.

I don't think it's hate. It's a game 7 and both teams have been pretty even, so at that point it's just who you like more. Judging by the cockiness about the voting on your/thunder fans end, maybe that's why some people are going for Indy

No game 8 all but confirmed with Scott Foster not chosen for game 7

Three first timers, none of them have ever worked a Finals Game 7

Good luck to both teams!

Not very often that we get a Game 7 in the NBA Finals. It's been a long time since the last one.

Toss up to me, have no idea who's going to win.

I voted Indy in the poll. Maybe a gut feeling if had to lean one way.
