Wiz out: #6, #18, Saddiq Bey, ‘26 & ‘27 2nd’s
Wiz in: #3, Andre Drummond and Eric Gordon
Bailey wants to stay on the East Coast and have a chance to be the lead scorer on a team-Washington fits that criteria perfectly. This gives them a chance to draft a true “face of the franchise” type without giving up any future assets.
Sixers out: #3, Drummond, and Gordon
Sixers in: #6, #18, Bey, ‘26 & ‘27 2nd’s
IMO there isn’t a huge value difference between VJ, Tre, and Kon so the Sixers trading down and still getting 1 makes a ton of sense. #18 and Bey represent added value for cheap role players. Couple of 2nds from the Wiz’s stockpile is a slight sweetener
**Drummond and Gordon would have to agree to opt in if this trade is done before new league year.

I think this is a fair exchange if the Wizards want Bailey that badly. However, I think it's a real possibility that he's going to be available at 6 considering all that has transpired in the past few days.

Nah.
So forfeit the whole draft and then some for Ace?
Aside from the quality of assets, I feel like this would be a Dylan Harper type offer, but maybe sending out better players on our end.

I’d rather gamble he drops to #6 in your lap than give up that for #3.

This is not remotely close to A Dylan Harper offer.

This.
If Wiz are smart they would just sit at 6 and grab the guy that falls. At least one of Ace, Tre, VJ, or Kon will be sitting there. The teams drafting directly ahead, Charlotte and Utah, don't exactly have stellar draft records either.

Agreed.
Bailey's shenanigans have compromised Philly's leverage. Nobody really believes Philly or Charlotte will draft him now because Bailey has made it clear he wants to play for a team that will give him minutes. Charlotte won't draft him either for the same reason. I don't think Utah wants him either. So it's really a market between Washington, New Orleans and Brooklyn. Washington gets him if nobody trades up.
The other issue is that Bailey's shenanigans have made him genuinely less desirable. Do teams really want to sacrifice a high lotto pick on a guy who seems more motivated on his own personal gain instead of the team? I'm not saying it's a dealbreaker or anything, but the gap between Bailey and guys like Maluach, Fears and Kneuppel has definitely narrowed. I don't think any among Brooklyn, New Orleans or Washington wants to spend that much to move up for Bailey.

For sure, I meant the amount of assets, not what the assets were. Either way I think WAS should stay put and take whoever falls.
