I bet they did....for leverage with Houston, who PHX preferred to trade with all along.

Jalen Green?! That man straight up can't play with Booker and Beal. Whats even the plan there? Thats worse than trading for Herro.

Overpay? Can't believe the Heat couldn't close the deal, this is an underwhelming return for KD, there is literally nothing of value in that package.

Insane copium going on lol. They got a volume scorer who disappeared in the playoffs that they don’t even plan on keeping, a role player nobody likes, a 1st and the Jae Crowder to Milwaukee package (5 2nds)

I think the copium is thinking that Wiggins, 20th pick, Jaime, and Jovic is a better package than Brooks, Jalen, 10th pick, and 5 2nd round picks.

How does that make any sense? Unless we included Ware we had no shot.

Jalen Green is 23 years old and they gave up the 10th pick in the draft

Massive Suns W

Makes our Butler return look horrible

I get that some of you need this to cope, but literally 66% of the neutral realGM board have this as a Houston win and it is for me as well.
Also I don't rate Green, getting off his contract is a double win for Houston, he's a much worse version of Herro and about to get 30m+.

The 10th pick + 5 x 2nd rounders is worth like 2 FRPs, so it's esentially neutral contracts and 2 picks they paid. I think Miami should have beat that, but ok I guess they didn't want to deal with the cap problems that would have come with this trade.

Doesn't matter. He's a 22 year old promising asset. They can flip as needed. The point is to accumulate the best assets you can, and as biased as we may be, Jalen Green is a better asset than Jamie and Jovic lol

A steal for Houston. Dillon Brooks is role player with a bad attitude. Jalen Green is just another overpaid shooting guard in a league full of them.

#10 and 2nd round picks and Houston didn't have to give up any future 1sts or any current prospects. They get out of J Green's long-term deal which only promised to overpay him. A steal.

Doesn't matter what they do lol

It will be more of the same until Heat find their next young star.

KD would have been a fun distraction, but it would have set them back ever further in the future.

I like how people are dismissing Jalen Green as just a volume shooter that chokes in the playoffs  sounds like some white guy on our team seeking 3 years 150 million … except Jalen Green attacking ability and athleticism makes him a superior player and his ceiling much higher.

This is absolutely for the best. We want the ball in Bam and Herro's hands.

On the bright side, instead of watching Durant kill it we get to watch Kel'el Ware and Davion Mitchell show the league who is boss...

Jalen Green is a better asset than Jaime and Jovic combined.

10th pick > 20th pick + a future 20th pick (how are we kidding ourselves about this?).

Wiggins and Brooks basically cancel each other out - both are role players / glue guys.

5 2nds > Duncan's cap relief lmao.

Wiggins, Jovic + 2 FRPs would have gotten it done, they chose not to
