Sun's get Green, Brooks, #10 and 5 seconds.

That a great deal for Houston...#10 (5 seconds are essentially free). Can't believe Suns couldn't do better? There must be a follow-up deal for one of PHO's 3 SG's.

Durant traded to Houston includes a return of the #10 pick. No way KJ falls to us now. He'll be perfect for the Suns if he makes it that far.

https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45561747/sources-suns-trading-kevin-durant-rockets-blockbuster-deal

The Phoenix Suns have agreed on a blockbuster trade, sending 15-time NBA All-Star Kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets for Jalen Green, Dillon Brooks, the No. 10 pick in the draft and five second-round picks, sources told ESPN on Sunday.

Time to change my mock draft.

Green will probably be attached to Beal to get rid of him

I'm thinking CMB or Demin for PHO.

Beal should walk around wearing a "no trade clause" t-shirt. I don't even know if it's legal to John Wall a player under the league's CBA.

Houston stole him. The best asset going back is #10. They had tons of depth behind Brooks and Green is one mediocre season from cementing himself as a bad contract.

Even factoring in KD’s age, contract and injury risk, getting him without giving up future firsts or needed rotation pieces is pretty sick.

Beal has a no trade clause and does not want to move again. Why do you all keep forgetting this?

37 year old, 50M Kevin Durant Phoenix Suns got a haul and we got garbage for Zach Lavine in his prime years. Living in era of greatest GM ever in Chicago.

Probably because I don’t follow Bradley Beal and his contract situation

Even if Beal OK’d a trade, good luck finding a landing spot for 85m in salary.

Quite a haul? I think the Suns got a very poor return for Durant. 5 2nds? That is weak.

No thanks. If Bulls fans hated Zach, I can only imagine what we'll think of the poor man's version of Zach

Packages were kind of similar, which is crazy considering KD is a champion and HOF.
Bulls got a #12.
Suns got a #10.

I'm not a huge Jalen Green fan, so I think the player package of Green vs Huerter/Collins/Tre is a bit better for Phoenix but not massively better.
The 2nds are probably going to be irrelevant unless they can move a ton of them for a first.

I guess how awesome of a deal this is for PHO hinges a lot on if one thinks Green's a star...I think he's another Zach Lavine one day and a lot less efficient right now (54% TS way below league avg, Lavine is 64% TS one of the best in the league at his volume).

When you have the opportunity to add a high volume shooting guard to Booker and Beal, you do it. Team building 101.
KC: Do you still think you're a championship-caliber team?
Gar: I never said that and correct me if I'm wrong
