wiggins is done, even in his best year 2022 his offense was below league average. There is no way we get him back now

I think any team that would pay Kuminga $25M should just draft Thiero who is a better version. Thiero is what Kerr wants Kuminga to be.

I think Lacob would pay that amount. 3/75 or 4/100.
I am not saying that it would be a good idea. Just a sense Lacob isn't ready *yet* to jettison JK. Maybe the Warriors are trying to decoy everyone in order to maximize his trade value, but I gather the league has a pretty good idea what JK is worth.

Re: Warriors exploring S&T for Kuminga
Supposedly the Bulls would be interested in a sign and trade.
If not, one of the suitors for KD might be interested if they aren't able to acquire him.

So there could be more activity once KD is traded, the first domino to fall.

As I said a long time ago, it's JK for Coby White. That's what's going to happen.

White looked good in some regular season games, creating for himself mostly.
But he got seriously humbled in the play-in game.

I don't know if it's what's going to happen, but I definitely wouldn't mind it. He's still really young but looks primed to take off. And we really need another PG behind Steph. No offense to Podz and Spencer, but with Steph's advancing age they need more at that position. He's also an ELITE freethrow shooter who is drawing more and more fouls as his career goes on.
If they come out of this offseason with White and maybe Reid or Gafford, wow, I'm thrilled. If they can add Melton as an extra piece for cheap, even better...you could say he's not needed if they have White and risky because of the surgery, but I feel like they need all the backup they can get.

Moody and a protected first for white should be enough but it's Chicago so they'll probably ask for lacob's firstborn

I want Wiggins back! Should have traded JK to Miami instead of Wiggs.
Now that KD trade is down, Miami might want in now.
Make it happen!

The only way Wiggins is involved is we ship him to a 3rd team. Miami gets JK, we get a FPR, Wiggins get shipped to a 3rd team as part of another deal.
For example , I would do 2FPR for CAM Johnson and Nets take Wiggins and flip him for more assets.

Re: Warriors exploring S&T for Kuminga
Slater interviewed Kuminga.
https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/jonathan-kuminga-restricted-free-agency/1857912/
Kuminga spoke exclusively with The Athletic's Anthony Slater ahead of the NBA's June 30 restricted free agent negotiation window, and discussed his goal of developing into a star player capable of leading an offense.
“That’s what’s been on my mind,” Kuminga told Slater. “Things take time, but I feel like I’m at the point where that has to be my priority, to just be one of the guys a team relies on. Aiming to be an All-Star. Multiple times. Aiming to be great. … Wherever I’m going to be at, it don’t matter if it’s the Warriors or if it’s anywhere else, it’s something I want. I want to see what I could do. I know I got it. So I want to really see. I’ve never got that chance.”
The 22-year-old Kuminga has had a roller-coaster career with the Warriors, showing flashes of immense potential, but struggling to maintain a consistent role in coach Steve Kerr's rotations.
Those inconsistencies in four seasons with Golden State will play a role in deciding what situation is best for him this summer.
“I did it here and there, but it was never a consistent role, a consistent role given to me,” Kuminga said. “It only happens five games on, 10 games off. I want it to be a consistent role. Because I know what I got. I know what I could bring. I know how much work I put in. I know I’m dedicated to this game, how much I love the game.”

Wow ...
Lacob's pet project vs the coach KD won't play for. I'm getting close to running out of popcorn this offseason ...

And how would you "manage" Kuminga, Jester? We know you've expressed a weird predilection for butt paddling.

I thought Kerr managed Kuminga very well. Kuminga was never going to be a major-minutes, rely on him kind of guy for the Warriors as long as Steph Curry is still Steph Curry. And it would be very easy for a guy like Kuminga - young and expects to be a star - to rebel at his role, cause locker room problems, demand a trade. But that never happened. Kuminga stayed ready, more or less, without becoming a distraction to the team and its goals. That's a major accomplishment and IDK how many other teams would have been able to pull that off.

I don't think so. If Kerr decided on CNP-CD as JK's role. Just should of be in street clothing all playoff.
